He is calling pitches as if his pitchers can throw strikes.
I say that tongue and cheek. Its hard to call pitches when your guys aren't consistent and the fact that other than a couple of guys the entire pen is inconsistent makes it worse.

When pitchers can’t locate any of their pitches consistently then it doesn’t matter what you call. I’m pretty sure Wes isn’t calling hanging curveballs or fastballs right down main street!

When your pitchers are not executing the called pitch, what is there to talk about…..during a game? There are a lot of pitches missing the called location. I think they are trying to do more than is called for and overwhelming frustration with the officiating.

Nobody can read body language on a sideline/dugout like the rant. Just straight up experts.

All these guys are capable of more strikes, but aren't delivering. Might be they need more fastballs before trying so many breaking balls. A lot of pitchers need to get in a groove and we ain't seeing much groove. I get that the guy on the hill is the one throwing it, but pitch calls matter.
