Is there a hardback copy of 'it never rains in tiger stadium'?

It's probably out of print in hardback. Go to abe.com and search for whatever you are looking for. You can probably find anything from a tattered hard back to a signed first edition.

you sir are an idiot. I thought the book was awful because it was mostly based around John Ed's mental instability and not much insight about the LSU football program. it often made me feel uncomfortable.

Ditto, I received the book for christmas after everyone here saying it was the best book.

I too was expecting more of the LSU player experience, not the aftermath of what he went through. Its just a non-coherent version as it relates to time of his inability to be a man. Still worth reading though.

Friends Dad played just before John Ed, and he claims that neither he nor anyone else that he knows had those types of feelings after leaving LSU. Basically called John Ed a whiner.
