Just got to town. Where to park? Eat? Drink?

Kumquat recipe?

Need one or more. Got a bush full and I need something to do w/ them.
Sorry- I need to update my profile. I live in The Woodlands, Tx now. New Belgium brewing (fat tire, snow day Trippel and the IPA) are not available in Louisiana.

The Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, and Lefenasdfhadslkfh berry I think are available around the BTR. From my time there I remember Calandro's on Siegen being the best place to find top shelf beers.
Snow Day is darker than Fat Tire and sam adams with more spice and a stronger flavor. Not as dark as a turbo dog, though. It is a true 'winter' brew. I only had 3 so far, but they sell em by the sixer here.
Mad elf? 11% alcohol?

I think I know what I'll be trying next.

Dickie V = basketball version of Lou Holtz, IMO.

But I am glad an LSU player is getting such acclaim and recognition.

I don't like fruity crap in my beer and I don't like Fat Tire

You dont Like Purple Haze?

You dont like Fat Tire?

Well then. I guess our palates will just have to agree to disagree.

FWIW purple haze > the other berry beers mentioned here. By a MF'n long shot.
I'm in The Woodlands, Texas, and I bought it at Wal-Marks here.
I had some purple haze a few weekends ago and it reminded me how much I like it. It got interested to try a few of the other berry flavored beers ive seen in stores.

Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier- really good. Heavy berry flavor that subsides after the bottle.

Leinenhugel's Berry Weiss - STRONG BERRY FLAVOR- too strong in my opinion.

Fat Tire is my favorite beer- So I picked up a New Belgium mixed 12 pack-

Fat Tire - never gets old, no hangover, can drink alot of it without getting full, makes me a better man. It's availability is the lone bright spot of living in the lone star state.

Snow Day - a great winter ale. Heavy flavor, heavy spice. Could drink more than one or two of them. As of now it will be my beer of choice for the Christmas Holiday.

Ranger - India Pale Ale - OK. Probably much better when paired with the right food. Not something I'll buy again, unless the only other choice is....say.....Miller Lite.

Trippel - Ale Brewed with Coriander- whew - what to say? at distinct flavor, weird even. Got better with each sip, but delicious when I started eating my pizza for supper. Like, A LOT better. So I am assuming this needs to be paired with the right food, too.

Just got a sixer of Sierra Nevada Celebration. I really started trying a bunch of different beers during christmas about 10 years ago after reading an article about the different holiday brews available. And this is one of the best.
Can anyone recommend one? The few I've seen online are cheaper than the $100 limit we have- so I was thinking I may be able to get a good one.
I've heard that. I'll get there one day.
I like Guinness a lot, especially when it's on tap and poured correctly- just wondering if anyone has tried their new brew.

He didn't do it last year

Very true. Dang. Point derailed.
Not sure if this angle has been discussed as the majority of what you people post is insufferable. Just thought it was worth mentioning.
Stun the crowd and take them out of it. I think the players really feel it when a once electric crowd is now sitting on there hands.

Favorite bama joke-

How is a bama fan like a maggot?
- they can both live off of a dead bear for 30 years.
