Is the Mcneese game on the free ESPN app or do I have to pay for ESPN+?

LSUsports.net has the game listed as SEC Network + and ESPN+. SECN+ usually means it would be on the extra SECN cable channel and you could watch on the free ESPN app. ESPN+ is the subscription service. It’s confusing how they have it listed.
Is the SEC allowing ESPN to broadcast games exclusively on the subscription service this year like the Big 12 has in the past?

You’ll have to pay for ESPN+ if it’s listed as SECN+. It’s not going to be worth the $4.99 baw

The only way to watch regional SECN+ games is through the ESPN+ app 99% of the time. Since you’re such an expert, how exactly do you think you’re going to watch it if not through the app?

1. Open the ESPN app.
2. Sign in with your cable provider.
3. Click on the LSU game airing on SECN+.
There is literally zero requirement to subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch SECN+ on the free ESPN app.
Anyone who actually watches the LSU baseball team play, knows how to watch SECN+ programming.

It says ESPN+ when I go to the game on the ESPN app. Everything else on the ESPN app that has ESPN+ by it means you have to pay. That’s why I’m asking. Baseball games usually don’t say ESPN+. They say SECN+, so stopping bringing up baseball games.

My app shows the game will be on SECN+ just like the baseball games

I gotta agree with you. Why it’s not on one of the SEC alt channels is beyond me. And no I don’t watch baseball but I do wanna see this football game.
