When all the teams are within 1 game of 1st place overall in the league and the last place team is only 2 1/2 games out?

I think the pitching looks pretty good so far. A lot of teams are very deep. I think the offense will come around and when the weather warms up scoring will go up. LSU can only get better especially when some of the bats heat up like Bregman and Ibarra and some of the younger guys figure out SEC pitching - Robertson is right there.

To put it in perspective, Vandebilt only lost 3 league games all last season......

And we lost 7. What are we putting in perspective exactly?

Nobody seems to be grabbing the bull by the horns and pulling away from the pack. Yes, I know we are only 2 series in, but there doesn't look to be a dominant team this year.

Vandy looked pretty solid against us. They probably should have swept

Then they lose 2 out of 3 to State, including being blown out 17-2 last Friday.

I think last year was the abnormal year. In most years, ~20 wins on the season wins the league.

Last year was an anomaly when Vandy and LSU ran away with the divisions. Most years everyone is all jumbled up. 19-11 won the SEC just 2 years ago.

Vandy helped blow themselves out with 5 E's. Get over it. I remember Bama steamrolling LSU in 1997 28-2 and LSU later beat them convincingly for the CWS championship. WGAF about Vandy losing to MSU? The things people post these days.....
