Poa is more productive than Poole! Would love to see more Poa ! I see that Poole is a good defender. I haven't seen much at all from her other than running up and down the court when she's out there. Coach sees something daily in practice that we don't see - is the only explanation. Poole made a few plays today

Poole played a lot tonight because of Michigan’s size especially Brown their big point guard. It was a great decision. That’s why Carson did not start and came in when Michigan went to a zone.

I personally like Poa a lot and she is in general more in control but Poole played strictly because her defense is outstanding and limited Michigan's best player (Brown who avgs 18 a game) to 3 points

It was a good decision by Mulkey and Carson ended up looking more comfortable coming off the bench

Poole also is 1/3 girls on the team with major tournament experience, and 1/2 of which played alot of games against the Michigan team. The OSU team that beat our arse last year to make it to the Sweet 16, yeap...that was Poole's team. My only guess of an explanation is that CKM went with experience on the floor against a team that has upper classmen. Poole's perimeter defense was suffocating last night.

Great points. I’ll just add that when looking through the stats, I was surprised to see that Poole leads the team in 3pt. % and is second in assists and assist to turnover ratio.

Poole played great defense tonight and she matched up a heck of a lot better against Michigan's big guards than out other guards would have. She was one of the big keys to us winning last night.
