I want the whole LSU team to miss the next 3 games due to academic suspension.... Tulane would become the best team in state by default

The Rant is overly sensitive right now, I made a true statement in the herbstreit thread and now they have twisted as I said Alabama dominated LSU.

I don't think people are bitching about being undefeated or even that Jefferson is being allowed to play. People are bitching about the way Miles has handled Lee and deservingly so.

Truth is we only know the public perception of how Miles has handled Lee. The Rantards do not know what else may be at play (grades, practices, classes, etc) and neither do I.

My argument is not whether Jefferson or Lee is the better QB, it's only that the treatment of Lee after his poor performance has been wrong not unfair as others wold like to say.

Assuming the reason he is not starting is only because of his poor play against Bama. There may be much more to Lee not starting than his performance against Bama.

When JL came to LSU's rescue last year and for the first 8 games this year-- I was Geaux Lee!!! As a true LSU fan, when JL threw 2 interceptions against BAMA and JJ came in with some success and no turn overs-- I was Geaux Jefferson!!!

Now-- with Arkansas-- whoever starts, I will be Geaux Lee/Jefferson. And should the starter falter, I will cheer the replacement. The name on the back of the jersey did not matter to me in the first 8 games, and will not matter to me in the last 3 games-- I am a Tiger fan!!!

Imagine this board Friday night/Saturday if say Jefferson throws a pick/fumble/has horrible game against Arkansas and LSU were to lose.

I would stay on SEC Rant as it would probably be more sane than Tiger Rant. Even with Arkansas and Alabama fans.

no reason to hate.

I didnt find one LSU fan in oxford this weekend who understood what LM was trying to accomplish with sitting JL.... and I asked a ton of people, college aged to older adults.
I even talked with Jaques Doucet for about 30 mins during the day about this,.. he didnt have an answer... he does this for living and he could not give a reasonable answer.

I also listened to these espnu announcers when I rewatched the game yesrerday... they make zero sense.
If I heard them say more dynamic or more explosive one more fricking time, I was gonna puke.
They basically said JJ needed to start for his ego and JL was fine coming off the bench. ...

We couldve beaten Wuk and OM like we did with any playere on our roster under center.

People just dont get what JL did to go from taking 90% of the snaps through 8 games to 5%.

After reading this board for last two weeks or so Its not hard to see the posters here that are in every single thread telling others to deal with it, or just STFU and trust Les are the same ones that wanted JJ playing over JL all along.

As I said yesterday, 2-3 more games and it ends.
Thank GOd.

Congrats on being the in the "few select idiots" grouping.

"Not knowing" is not a valid argument against fans ranting on a sports talk radio or website. Sports is all about conjecture and prediction, 'what if' scenarios and my team is the best blind loyalty.

This isn't science, using "you don't know what goes on behind closed doors" is a dead argument. If you don't know, it gets filled in by fans own speculation. Nature abhors a void, so it fills in.

This is one of Les Miles biggest mistakes as head coach. By not informing the fan base about what is going on, he leaves the door open for rampant speculation and crazy theories. Then he and his minions come on here and rail against everyone who speculates. It's a vicious cycle.

If you don't want rampant speculation, quit giving people ample opportunity to do so.

I think one of the best qualities of les is his insistence on not airing out a player's dirty laundry. He tries to protect his players.

TigerLee would be celebrating, certain Pro-Jefferson posters would be drinking for other reasons.... the madness would be insane, Miles would go from Great to Chump... Lee would be hailed the victor in all of this

No doubt. The I told you so's would be all over the place.

I'm convinced that some posters have written out threads that they have saved ready to jump at the opportunity to post them.
Preemptive strike.
