Are you suggesting our senior QB is a pussy?

Maybe CLM isn't playiong him b/c he is so fragile mentally as the JL guys always say.

Glad to know that you think one player is bigger than the team. What a whiny post.

Destroyed his confidence? I'm glad that I feel that lee is not as much of a pussy as some of his supporters believe.

Miles is paid to win games, not try to appease you by playing your favorite player.

Lee was on the verge of LOSING that game.
Really? Since those interceptions resulted in 3 points? That is your definition of losing?

Wipe your vagina off and realize it was never Lee's job to begin with.

I've given Lee lots of credit. Did you miss my statement specifically highlighting his play at Miss St and at WVU?
Lee has done everything we could have asked him to do as a backup QB, and then some. But that doesn't automatically mean he's the better choice going forward.

what you mean??? JJ had copyright, pattens and a deed to the starting qb job?

Ive seen enough out of JJ's and JL's play on the field the last two yrs to tell me that it was basically a postion that didnt BELONG to either.

It may not be the "right" thing to do, since I have stated I believed Lee did earn the starting job through his play and 1 bad game should not cost, but it has been done. I am 100% positive Lee knew and talked with Les about this. It was a football decision plain and simple and if LSU goes undefeated then we really can not second guess. If Jefferson cost LSU a game then everyone will second guess the decision.
As far as Lee confidence, he hasn't looked shaken in him limited playing time and he didn't lose confidence after his 08 season I do not see why he would now. More intelligent way to go, this brings me back to my first post in this thread, why do we automatically assume those who do not agree are actually dumber than ourselves?

Solid post and a little more eloquent than what I said. Just get frustrated with the "it's just not right!!!!11 " crowd.

He may not be a better choice, but he did earn the starting job.... And any way you look at it if LSU were to drop a game then the choice to switch QB's is going to be a hotly debated topic. Especially if the burden falls on Jefferson, I do not think Jefferson has an advantage over Lee and I have stated that. I think they are pretty even in terms of ability. Either one could start but the biased individuals (like yourself) give me a reason to argue one side or the other.

Except this offseason, a new OC/QB coach came in and a new offense was installed. During spring practice and fall camp they evaluated 2 Sr QBs, and they chose JJ as the starter (without a doubt). It was completely clear who our starting QB was before shadygate. Lee stepped up and played well for the most part. But certainly not spectactular enough to nail down the job. And all JJ has done since he's come back is peform very well. Of course the coaches are going to go back to their pre-season starter, especially after the bama game.

I really doubt his grades are in question I mean he may have skipped a few classes but if you go to LSU you know plenty of players that skip classes

I know that it doesn't mean much and everyone on here seems to have sources, but I can pretty much tell you that there is or has been an academic situation involving lee.

Just saying it is possible. I would be amazed if it is true though.

They still are. It's a situation that he may not be able to correct.

If his grades are in question I would assume other players are as well. I know I've seen more than a few 2.0-2.5 GPA on the team and they still were able to play. They just get some extra tutors etc.
