This year looks promising, but God some of you are giving this man way more credit that he deserves or has earned.

yea well he is just the HC so there is that

The Overrating of O after 2 games is becoming unbelievable. Some of you are just trying so hard to glorify the man whose best achievement to date was beating a crippled G5 team in a bowl game that we got to for playing Miami instead of Clemson. If LSU plays Clemson and A&M plays Miami last year, A&M is going to the NY6 game and not LSU.

quit trying so hard to down play the success of last years team that was recognized as the 6th best team in country overall at the end of the season. The first time we have ended a season ranked so highly since the 2011 season. Quit being so angry that Coach O has this team back in the conversation as being one of the better teams in the country. Sure we have to see how this season plays out but there is no denying that the program is on the upswing and that the program is on the right track to getting back to being one of the elite programs in college football once again.

He blamed Moffit for the WRs not getting jug machine Reps THIS summer

wrong, he said "his source" was that the WR's were getting large # of reps on the jugs machines and then Jamar Chase came out (pretty much right on cue) and said that that was true.

Except thats NOT what he was saying before that interview with Chase came out.

My take is that Moffitt is a Class-A S&C coach who hasn't dealt with the needs of WR's (effectively) in a true true passing scheme in his long career. And, that O needs to bring in a HOF level WR consultant (player, not guru) to redesign WR workouts, in-season and off-season. If Moffitt goes along with it, then everything's good. If not, he should be replaced ASAP. Sorry, but most drops in the SEC & near-bottom of all Power-5 teams isn't just bad, it is horrific.

that was in July of this summer

He spend most of the summer talking about how we needed 10K reps and how Moffit was preventing them from happening and there was nothing O or Brady couldn't do.

Your life's purpose is saving up other people's posts so you can get them later. You've got hundreds of my posts bookmarked and couldn't wait until the coach got some hardware. You made it to week 2.

You don't have any conviction of your own so you just stand on the sidelines and collect posts from everyone else that do have conviction. Buckeye may be delusional but at least I have some respect for him for fervently standing for something. You stand for nothing.

All of those posts you saved and you still didn't find any posts where I said the offense wouldn't improve, so you're still a liar.

Possibly. Didn't you just tout Mullins COY award? It's a fluid profession and based solely on what you've done lately. That's why accomplished doesn't always mean permanently great.

Roger, you don't believe that for a second, at least I hope.

If Orgeron goes undefeated and wins a championship this year, you're putting him over Saban?

Pretty much a lock, dukke. Do the math. Even if he has 2 or 3 low 60's, high 50's games (and I doubt he has more than 1, if that)

It's not a lock, but it's probable.

If he finishes the season like he ended last year - his games against Arkansas, Rice, A&M, and UCF - he won't finish at 70%+, and those were relatively solid games.

Hopefully he never slows down his pace.

Mullen is so overrated

There is no objective way to put Orgeron ahead of Mullen. You have to be wilfully ignorant to do so at this point.

If I were a HC and both Mullen and Orgeron applied for my open OC job, I would hire Mullen. But if I am the AD at LSU and have a HC vacancy I would want to hire the coach who would be the better HC at LSU. Which is exactly what Alieva did. I am not even saying Orgeron is a better HC in general at some random college football program than Mullen. Maybe he is maybe he isn't. Maybe Mullen is a better HC for Florida than Orgeron would be as HC at Florida. But as for being the HC at LSU, I am taking Orgeron every time and it is not even close.

This is just blind homerism.

Mullen took a 4-7 team to 10-3, beating Orgeron and LSU along the way, in his very first year at UF.

Never mind his unprecedented run of success at MSU.

Are you implying that O has some preternatural head coaching ability that could only be unlocked at LSU?

I judge a coach (or anyone else in their chosen profession) by distance traveled.

To me taking a team from 3 wins to 7 wins is a hell of a lot more impressive than going from 8 to 10. Not everyone can build a program.

There is a talent set involved in maintaining a program too, so I'm not saying everyone can do that, but it's not the same as taking a team from the gutter and making them into something.

I don't take anything away from those that can't build a program from scratch but those that can get extra credit. How could they not?

Beat Nick Saban and I'll consider him up there in the SEC Coaches ranking. Otherwise he's just an also ran.

Saban sets the height of the bar..............

No ones saving anything, homer. Search function and three minutes gave me those. All since 8-12.

You've got far more embarrassing stuff out there. You're wrong as usual.

I'll take Dabo over Saban right now. He's better at his craft at the present time.

Who are you kidding? You have tons of comments bookmarked. You've admitted it.

Or do you think going back and researching my threads for gotcha moments is any less pathetic?

Only difference is I'm not enough of a loser to care to post it as if catching you in a lie means anything to me. You and Lester lie constantly.

6, not a one of them yours.

No need, you've left a trail of bitter despair all over this site for two years to pull up.
