It's the offensive strategy which predicates doing nothing when winning by even a point with a quarter left to play.

Calling it conservative is sugar coating it.

The most predictable offense I have ever seen, and I remember some boring 1970's offensive teams.

Nobody should be an undisputed starter until the game time and should be replaced during the game if he does not perform. That is the main problem with Miles; takes him too long to adjust; just like his OC.

My biggest wish for this off-season is that Anthony Jennings comes in and blows the competition away.

was with some Marietta alums a few weeks back who expect him to do just that. was kinda comical how they were so dismissive of Mett.

I agree our strategy is shite as we all know. But with Mett he doesn't have touch on the deep ball, routinely misses receivers. Less importantly his footwork and mobility isn't shite. I just want to see what the other guys could do

What a shocker. Guys with homeschool blinders on think their 18 year old is better than anyone in college right now

People are dumb. After reading this site for so long I feel like more of y'all would catch on to that

This is the problem. If you are predictable, that gives an advantage to the defense to where even below average defenders can make plays. Defenses are below average or worse because they cannot adopt to complex offensive schemes. We just don't have that.

Without a doubt. Because Leslie is going to show the world by God he is right. Besides Les has proven he cannot, or at least has not, recruited a lights out QB. Or maybe he has and can't coach them.

Totally disagree with that comment Roger Dodger. Mett simply cannot elude a rush of any kind and even if he did somehow escape the 1st pass rusher to get near him he cannot make positive yardage with his feet. The QB for Clemson showed what is needed in order to be the best at the collegiate level: a mobile QB that can keep the defense honest and with a great arm. Mett's one-dimensional and it is a major liability for LSU's offense. Play calling and execution start with the QB. If he can't improvise at times the offense is doomed - see Clemson game. Very, very frustrating w all the talent on this team year in and year out. Would be nice to have a top tier QB at LSU again one day. Can't understand why we can't recruit well at the most importatnt position on the football team. Totally inexcusable for the program. It is holding us down BIG time (IMO).

Jordon Jefferson could. Like him? Our offense this year was similar to 2010, where we did have a mobile QB

Like every QB at LSU the past 5 years, he would never develop and be stuck in this shitty, predictable offense.

The offense is a major liability for any QB.

Put Tom Brady or RGIII in this offense and they are average, at best. Until you make fundamental changes in this offense and the offensive staff, nothing will change no matter who you plug in.

Miles isn't that bad at evaluating talent.

You could put fricking Drew Brees back there. If the line isn't blocking shite is not going to go your way.

probably so but does not matter. With Miles, no successful offense no matter who...
