According to the stat ESPN kept showing during he LSU UGA game was that both teams were bubble and the loser was out.

LSU blew a double digit lead quicker than any I’ve seen. Terrible second half of basketball. Not a bubble team at the moment.

ot a knock, but they look more like a NIT team this year. Needs to get his players in his system.

This was my best case scenario regarding this team before the season started. An NIT berth after our struggles of the recent past has to be looked at as a huge success.

LSU can't afford to lose to a bad Vandy team on Saturday. That would put and end to bubble talk if it happens.

Well, a loss would mean LSU would have a lot to make up the rest of the way.

Let's be honest, this team is a lucky shot away from being 1-4. HOWEVER, they haven't been outclassed by anyone in the league yet and they really haven't played any bums. It's so disappointing to see them drop two games at home after two HUGE road wins. But after 5 games it should be clear that LSU can play with anyone in the SEC.

Vandy looks like they are the worst team in what is a good and balanced SEC. In most cases a loss to a team like Vandy would hurt far more than an win vs. them would help. But, this is a golden opportunity for LSU to notch another ROAD win. Road wins almost count double (even against avg. to bad teams) so this would be another significant win even though Vandy isn't good.

Get to 3-3 then you get A&M at home. Don't let the SEC record fool you, A&M is going to be a factor the rest of the way now that they are back to full strength. Sweeping them would be a HUGE boost. After that, LSU is staring down 3 tough road games (Auburn, Tenn., Florida). However, I think Auburn is a very good matchup for this LSU team and compared to UK, Bama and UGA, so are Tenn. and Florida. A road win over ANY of those three would be even bigger than the blowout at Ark.

4 out of the 5 sec games could have gone either way. LSU has just as good of a chance to make the NCAA tournament this year as they do finishing in the bottom third of the league. The people getting way down on this season are the ones just looking to be mad about something.
