I love it when non-athletes try to comment on what athlete do or don't do and who should be responsible! Breaking curfew for athletes in all sports (including pro ball) has been going on for so long that it has become a sport unto itself. Get over the curfew-breaking and move on!
As to the rest, let's see how things shake out over the next few weeks. Stop running around with your head in your hands screaming "the sky is falling"!

The catastrophy syndrome is never far from a lot of the LSU drama divas around here.

I'm not a great fan of Miles but he has recruited great talent and kept the program up to the top in the country for several years. I don't think aleva should have gotten a raise. It seems the program in all the other sports except football has fallen such as Track and field ,womens basketball (over paid new coach) ,mens basketball (continous loosing record with no end in sight but extended his contract),womens softball and mens baseball.Instead of a raise it seems his job should have been in trouble.

I love gloom and doom, don't you? Should LSU just dump athletics completely since there seems to be nothing to be happy about?

U are blind if you cannot see the sloppy play since the BCSNC season.
We were lucky to get those 11 wins last year - recall TN, UNC and FL.
We dump this season and we have a problem - Period

Good to know who not to take seriously in football discussion. Thanks for adding yourself to the list.

Still longing for those seven win seasons?

Enjoy the "Crisp" play on the field.

I will. Im enjoying the golden age of LSU football. I will enjoy every victory my school achieves.
You go continue to wallow in self pity. Also come up with some more "what if" sky is falling scenarios that have 0 chance of taking place.
Miles will continue to be a winner no matter how hard you cheer against him. Sad that people like you want LSU to fail so you can be right about a coach. But that's what you get with miserable pussies like Paulu I guess.

Exactly. That's what I am preaching to you, reality.
LSU is a powerhouse program that is coming off a too ten season and is now beginning this season in the top 5. The team is stocked and loaded for the future.
Not sure where you get your sky is falling ideas from. Reality shows that we are no where near your doom and gloom misery position.

Nobody is talking about doom and gloom
REality is nobody wants LSU to fail
"If" we dump this season, we have a 4 year trend that would not be indicative of a "powerhouse".

That's a big "if" man. I just don't see it playing out that way.

Lee was among the nation's leaders in interceptions in 2008 as the starter, but that offensive line was not nearly as experienced and skilled as now. Four starters — senior guards Josh Dworaczyk and Will Blackwell, junior center P.J. Lonergan and junior right tackle Alex Hurst — return from a unit that helped LSU finish fourth in the Southeastern Conference in rushing in 2010. There is also versatile senior guard/center T-Bob Hebert, who has started 18 games, and three others who have started at least a game.
"We're talented there," Miles said. "We have guys that will give us the opportunity to be a dominant line."
Lee has lost nearly 30 pounds down to 203 or so, but he cannot scramble or run like Jefferson. He will need time, and this line was fifth in fewest sacks allowed a year ago.
"We have such a veteran line," Dworaczyk said. "I think we can handle anything."
My thoughts
It is time to play.

Let's see:
Co-D coordinator fixed? Check
OL attrition fixed and beefed up? Check
Slippage of DL talent fixed? Check
Poor QB recruiting fixed? Check
Replaced ineffective OC? Check
Upgraded ST's coach when a good one left? Check
Has had limited number of off field incidents the past 5-years compared to other programs? Check
Overall greater talent than 3-years ago? Check
I don't know what some of you rantards are really seeking, perfection of athletics over a number of years has never been achieved at any institution. Well, maybe the USC baseball program under Rod Dedeaux including the 11 NC's and Wooden's basketball legacy, but those are exceptions and current competition levels prohibit those types of runs.

three words.....
Curly Fricking Hulllman...Nuff said LSU is in good Shape and these minor problems be damned we will have a great year...some of these morons want to win a NC each and every single year, not even knowing how hard to win one is....I was a fan all my life...i remember stories of the 58 champs and i also remeber it took till 2003 to win another one...Miles won one 4 years after the 2003 one...and he has recruited us into being at least in the running for several years...I rember how bad the LSU teams under hullman and dinardo were...Frick I hate a negative nancy fan...STFU
If you are a tiger fan you are a tiger fan in good and BAD times in my opinion most of these rantards are not true tiger fans,,,,,they are just loudmouthed idiots that dont know true loyalty to a program like LSU i bleed purple and Gold I bled it when we were 4-7 Ill bleed it win or lose...some of you make me sick and wish you would just go support some other POS team like Tulane, ULL, ULM or TECh your NOT tiger fand at all....
