I think right now Miles has his highest approval rating since he became head coach of LSU.
If you ask 1000 LSU fans if they approve of Miles I think you would get more yea's today then at any other point in his career at LSU.
I think its even higher then it was if you would have asked the same question after winning the National title.
I think a lot of us was giving at least some if not most of the credit for the NC to Nick Saban.
Maybe not all, but Saban did get some credit for the Miles 1st title.
This program is all Les now. 100%
I think the lowest point in Miles career was less then 1 year ago after the Tennessee game. Even though LSU won, this place was a mad house after that game.
So in a span of less then one year he goes from having his lowest approval rating, all the way to having his highest approval rating.
Does anyone agree with me?

I think so. he has a well disciplined fighting football machine!

For me personally I washed my hands of all Miles second guessing and complaining after the FL game last year. Pay him whatever he wants; let him retire in BR in 20 years.
But yea I think nationally his stock has risen a lot.

Yeah I remember suggestions made on this board to start raising enough money to buy out the remainder of Miles Multi Million dollar contract!

I agree with this. People are finally realizing he's a quirky guy that knows how to prepare a football team and ALWAYS has his team in striking distance.

I wonder what Maximus did with all that $1.27 he raised.

He's still in Negotiations with one of Sabans old sneakers!

Lets not forget, the clock management debacles were enraging the last couple of years. Lets hope that problem doesn't rear its ugly head at the end of a close conference game!

Max has got to be ready to strangle himself. His happiness always seemed inversely proportional to Miles success or failure. I just don't see him ever being on board the Miles train.

I know the national media has bashed him and made fun of him for years. Looks like after the crazy offseason with players being drafted, players being suspended, losing the starting QB, hiring an OC, finding another OC, etc, they have come around to realize this guy is the real deal.
Being able to have this team ready to go and dominate like they did, everyone I saw or heard was nothing but impressed.
Miles spoke afterwards about his team, and he knows it can be special.

What would happen to his approval rating if JJ returns somehow... and Miles puts him in as a starter!! (And you know he would do it)

All I can say is Les Miles is a real man. And he team would die for him and Les would die for them. That is a mark of a true leader. I rather have him anyway than a Saban. I approve of him 100 %. I like me some Les Miles. True person.

I hope that that was more o a symptom of the offensive playcalling that was going on under crow with us switching gears mid play. Hopefully.
