So much unwarranted hate for him. A lot of our fans really suck. I’d say it was because he caught a cold streak at the plate in Omaha but the hate started way before that. I mean he was way better than our national champion SS last season. Don’t think there’s much doubt about that.

David, did you play high school baseball? Let’s say you did. Not unusual. Lots of high school boys do. If you did play, did you turn it into a scholarship with not only a power 5 school, but the uno #1 blood blood power 5 baseball school. And then did your collegiate career get you drafted into MLB. And then after working hard on a minor league team, did you get the call to come up to the Big Show?
I’m gonna guess it’s a know on everything after high school ball. Well guess what, even if it was for only one at bay, Kramer did. So if he sucks, what does that say about you.
Wish so called fans would quit shitting on our players.

Hey, to each his own. But all that distracting shite added up and some focus was lost in it.
Did it cost them games in Omaha? Not able to say positively. But it didn't help

He is in a group of players (MILB veterans with MLB experience) that has been squeezed out by the new MILB roster limits. They cost more, so the bar for them to stick around is much higher.
I watched his MLB debut, because I watch most Cardinals games.
He got in late in a game and the circumstances of the game had Yadier Molina at 1st base to finish the game. This is late career Yadi, who didn't have a ton of lateral movement, but could still handle and inning here or there at first if the throws were where they needed to be.
This is also late career Yadier Molina who held more power in the org than the GM and President of Baseball Operations. If he parked his car in centerfield, they would have just figured out how to play around it.
Well, Kramer had a throwing error to first base that nearly got Yadi decapitated by the runner going to first. The phrase "if looks could kill" isn't strong enough for the glare Yadi shot his way.
That ended his season with the Cardinals and effectively put him on the backend of his career because of MLB roster rules.
