Most QB's look terrible at times during their first year getting action when they are a RS freshman. On the other hand you wouldn't expect a junior QB with a full year of starting experience to look as terrible as JJ did last year

JL has looked overwhelmingly better than JJ to you? JL looked bad about as much as he looked good. JL playing an entire game and not being the "spark" off the bench does not suit him IMO. I will be pulling for him to be successful b/c he will be leading the tigers but I think our season has a higher probability of failure with a short qb that panics whenever there is penetration by the d-line. I bet if you asked every d-coordinator who they would rather prepare for as LSU qb they would say JL.

So, the police who reported to us everything we know about his alleged involvement in this case just chose to ignore the 'other' stories and tell us the ones that implicate him?

Until today, the police were reporting on information given to them by the "victims." Notice how the tone as changed.

as far as I read in the last update after this mornings meeting, they seem to still believe that charges are coming.

How has the tone "changed"?

Yes, and it's not even close. We didn't win a single game because of JJ, but we did win a lot of games despite him. Without Lee we go 8-4 last year, and possibly even 7-5.
J Lee didn't get a significant number of snaps until the Tennessee game last year. He went 16/23 that game for 185 yards. He also had the most efficient game of an LSU QB over the last 3 years, going 9/11 for 124 yards and 2 TD's in the swamp

Except that media outlets are reporting that Jefferson may not have been involved and now there are video tapes of the "victims" in the bar directly contradicting their previous account.

I still expected some players to be charged. I don't think Jefferson will be charged. And I think the "victims'" credibility will be seriously damaged.

I think he means the old ladies sewing circle of gossips on the board...am I wrong?

All it took was the slightest bit of counter information to what we've been getting out of Team Victim and suddenly people seem to have grasped that there were actually going to be 2 sides to this story.

So who do you wish LSU had for a coach?

Against a -terrible- team.

I still maintain that this and last years defenses were both good enough to let Lee be the #1 guy. We can deal with a few picks.

I'm hoping that with a new offensive system.. that Lee won't be put into awful situations.

I appreciate your honest answer...so I'll ask you to indulge this follow up question.

Since it has not even been a close race in your eyes as to which QB should be the guy, why is it you think Miles sees it differently? I'm asking what you really think...I'm not baiting you, honestly.

I find it hard to believe their attorney would make such a statement without knowledge there even COULD be video evidence...but then again

It seems like the tone is the same. We just have defense council making statements attempting to exonerate his clients now.

We'll see how it plays out, but I feel the cops have been pretty consistent so far.

JJ had abysmal performances, not just bad, against the following teams that were even more terrible
Vandy
Tennessee
McNeese State
Auburn
ULM

C'mon...you have to have an opinion on this. It's clear he thinks JJ gives his team, for which he gets paid millions of dollars to coach, the best chance of winning...and you seem to think it's completely the opposite.

Is he just wrong in your eyes? Does he see what you see but goes this route anyway? Something else?

It's a particular point of view I find interesting and I'm wondering how you see it.

The only image JJ needs to repair is the memory of his passing game last football season.

Even if convicted of hitting someone, It's not something difficult to get past. Just don't do it again. He will have nothing to worry about.

And Lee's performances against Auburn and
ULM were worse than Jefferson's.

And let us not forget about Lee's performances against Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Just trying to be even handed here.
