Neither.

It just means that Les loves him a qb that he can attempt to make into a dual threat (see RP, Jefferson, RS, Liggins, Brandon Harris, etc)

I still have a feeling if mett went down ealry we would have seen rivers. He fit the mold of what they were trying to do on offense with mett.

If jennings is the guy then you got to go with him next year. Doesnt matter how young. A good OC will give the guy plays he can execute. If they have to dumb it down for year one then do it. But im not really worried about the offense, because we are not going to win anything unless the defense comes to play next season.

I can't say for sure about Jennings, but Rivers is indeed bad
