What kind of team do we have. Haven't heard much about it.

Plenty of offense and defense. Hopefully enough pitching.

Plenty of experience with eight seniors/graduate students leading and a talented freshman class ox six players should help push the program forward.

In the Softball America rankings entering the season, LSU ranks No. 12. The Tigers return 18 letter winners in 2024, six of which were All-SEC selections a year ago.

They also return an All-American pitcher in Sydney Berzon and the two-time reigning Gold Glove winner in Ciara Briggs.

This will lead to high expectations. They look set up for a run.

It's pretty much a make or break year for Torina. They've got a great core group of hitters in Pleasants, Coffey, Briggs, and Newland who are all in their final year. They have a great pitcher in Berzon. Not a lot of proven depth outside of those 5. Gonna really need some others to breakthrough.

They pretty much have to make the WCWS though and really need to be a top 8 seed in the process. It's been too long since they've competed for the SEC or had any postseason success. Torina peaked early in her tenure and hasn't been able to sustain it. Sure, they've been consistently competitive which is commendable but it really isn't enough. This season has to either be get back to where she had it or it's time for a restart.

We need fat girls that can hit home runs. Maybe from Samoa.

Don't get too excited to see Heavener. She's a high school senior.
