I selfishly wanted RR to stay for another year but when you can get first round money do it not matter what class.
He would have stayed if it would have benefited him. Obviously it wouldn't have with the same passing offense we have. I can't blame him for not wanting to get screwed over. I wish he could have stayed though.

I was saying that Boone does not "DEFINITELY" have the best hands. If he was targetted as much as Beckham who knows if he would have performed as consistently. I also was not talking about where receivers line up or who should be where, but cool story bro. I was just saying that Landry has some incredible hand, but thanks for your long opinion.
But on that note, despite drops which every big time LSU reciever has had (Clayton, Bowe, LaFell), OBJ is our best receiver with Landry. He needs to be on the feild every play not just on 3 WR sets.

Imagine if MC and MB stayed and finished what they started.
I know right? What about PS? Or TG, AZ, AS, HE, ZZ, QK, or even the great TY. Now those players would have made a huge difference if they stayed

The problem is he drops half the balls thrown to him
This has been surprising. I would have said he has the best hands on the team, and last year, it would have been between him and Mathieu.
He uses good technique. Doesn't try to use his body to catch the ball. Appears to have his shoulder hand closest to the ball on top.
Lafell went through a period of difficulty in catching the ball, and overcame it. But, he had his size working for him, too. Beckham needs his hands. He kinda disappeared the last half of last year, and really hasn't made an appearance yet this year.

Also, do we have a TE that can catch?
I'm not defending Clement, but his hands don't look any worse than our average receiver's hands.

Has trouble catching the ball
Right now Landry and maybe Boone are the only two that don't. OBJ is usually solid but had drops in game 2 and against AU. Shep can't catch shite if you hit him in the numbers but if you throw it at his shoelaces or over his head, you can bet your arse he'll come up with it.

IMHO, thats what we should have been doing all along. Only problem is that we rarely use a 3 WR set. OBJ is a slot WR, not a split out. But, since we rarely use a 3 WR set we have to get him on the field so we are forced to split him out wide, even though its not his natural position. It should be Jarvis and Boone out wide with OBJ running the slot.
