There was an interview with Ensminger that came out recently that made it sound like he relied on Brady for just about everything.

What did he say that made you come to that conclusion? I'm legitimately asking.

It's well known that coach E does not need the spotlight. He's happy doing his work without the accolades or flashiness. He was this way before Brady got here.

The perfect season for a rantard: Go undefeated, win the national championship, fire the coaches.

Not saying Fire anyone, This isnt hey lets clean house. The key to your offense and another important part left. The remaining piece wasn't as an important of part. Bring in people to assist and do What Brady did. If you want to go undefeated and win another Championship, it wont come by the Offence of E and how he runs things.

I am going to go out on a limb and say the Ed Orgeron knows more about the ends and out of what Ensminger did and what Brady did and will be able to make a decision based off of that more than anyone on this board does.

I get that’s a bold take but I’m not afraid to say the controversial things.

These are a few of the quotes from a Q and A article that came out before the NC game. The article seems to indicate that Brady was much more involved in the offense than most people originally thought.

Q. What's happening on the headsets when you guys are in between series?

STEVE ENSMINGER: As I say, Coach Brady is on his set with Joe Burrow. They're discussing what they saw. Coach Craig is on the offensive line. We're asking, Hey, what did Lloyd see. Lloyd Cushenberry is my MVP, I'm going to tell you. He makes probably 99% of the calls, and Joe has his chance to check it. As far as being around those guys and everything else, they're very seldom wrong.

Q. How do you decide on what you want to do in the red zone each time?

STEVE ENSMINGER: Look, I have a game plan that's sitting right here. I'll be honest with you here. When we get in the red zone, 12 in, that's Joe Brady. Unless I want to run a play-action, go fast, we'll go. When we get inside the 12, I tell Joe, It's yours and he calls it.

Q. How talented is someone like Joe Brady at his age?

STEVE ENSMINGER: Sky's the limit. Sky's the limit, no doubt about it. I've told him. He's a hell of a lot smarter than I am, okay?

Q. Is it enjoyable working with a guy like Joe Brady who is able to be a right-hand man during the game?

STEVE ENSMINGER: It is. Like I said, Joe Brady talks to Joe Burrow as much as I do. Putting in this passing system and everything else, like I said, when Joe comes off the field, he's on the phone with Brady because I'm preparing for the next series. They're going through the last series.

O trusts Steve and that's all that counts. Steve is not getting any younger and the recent family issue had to hit him hard. Considering the long hours involved being the OC, you have to wonder how many more seasons he wants to continue. Had Brady stayed, I believe Steve may have passed the OC reigns over to him after next season, but now that is not an issue. The good thing is that Steve and O are very close- if he has any thoughts of retirement, O would know well in advance and would not be at a point in the year to affect games or recruiting. Personally, I think he coaches two more years max.

I would bet money that the same sort of mentality that actually thinks E was driving the bus this season would also have been the type that thought Miles was still doing a good job up into the end.

E is a very nice man, but Brady was the driving force behind that great offense this year.
