A leniency in the drug use suspensions would only open the floodgates for more drug use amoung our players. There are rules to play for LSU. No rules lead to chaos. Yes I know it's legal in some states. When it's legalized in Louisiana, we'll see if any rules changed. What are the POT rules for players in Colorado? Does anybody know?

Wasn’t there something at the beginning of the year saying these suspensions included a couple of the six game variety? Not sure that there are six “cupcakes” on our schedule. That’s what worries me..

It's disturbing to me that other teams in our division we compete against side with their players and aid and assist them in avoiding failing drug tests, while we still punish our players and ourselves...
The most retarded logic that is constantly repeated here. "My neighbors break the law therefore I should be able to break the law too."

You have an addiction problem.
If prohibition were reinstated, but you still had a beer every now and again, would you be considered an addict?

If you continued to drink it knowing your employer would suspend you and it would hurt your family, you are either and addict or an a$$hole!

But considering they've grown up with whole segments of society telling them smoking weed is no big deal and shouldn't be illegal, not surprising.
It isn’t a big deal. Less harmful than tobacco or alcohol yet Americans by those things legally in mass quantities

The suspension worked out ok for Honey Badger!
It saved him from a life of regret and unreached potential.

NO-ONE should be punished or persecuted for smoking weed anymore. Period.
Then legalize it. Until then, it's against the law. Period.

The fact that any comment like this gets more downvotes than upvotes tells you all you need to know about Louisiana (and the south in general).

So is going even one mile over the speed limit but I bet you ignore that law many times.

Pot was not Honey Badgers problem. It was his lifestyle of unaccountability. Stop acting like there aren’t millions of pot smokers who are extremely successful in life.

civilized people outlawed physical punishment a long, long time ago...
We're talking about football. But, hey, if we're going down the socially/politically correct road, there are quite a few societies that still enlist physical punishment, so I suppose that means that you are being insensitive to other people's cultures by calling them uncivilized.

Expired inspection sticker tickets are fricking stupid and ridiculous.
But guess what? I still have to pay the fine

Then you law and order need to remember that and not bitch if we lose big time recruits and don’t beat a certain team you can take pride in knowing we go above and beyond NCAA and SEC rules to punish kids for a victimless crime smoking a plant
