Your right I was just dogging the thought of some kid saying he won us a championship. Bottom line we're stuck with him for at least one year. Let's just hope our talent will make due...I will continue to be at every game in support and hope for the best.

I mentioned the same thing to a friend today. He reminded me of some interesting facts:
"7-8 over your last 15 games in the SEC.
18-9 since the Arkansas game in 2007...
2 game losing streaks to Florida & Alabama, as well as shooting for a 3rd straight loss to Arkansas. 3 game losing streak to Houston Nutt.
Then you have the Meltdown in Mississippi."
I think that answers your question.

Again i say Miles didn't earn his championship ring...WE GOT FAIRLY LUCKY! Two teams lost for us to get there, and HE WON WITH SABAN'S RECRUITS!
we got lucky to get to the 2003 game too. one of the nebraska tommie frazier teams only stayed alive because of the colorado fifth down game. who cares?
anyone who still makes these dumb arguments, especially the saban recruits thing for a team that hadnt even spoken to him in 3 years, is just a frickin idiot.

it is because all les had to do was win AT HOME, ON SENIOR DAY against arkansas, and he couldn't do it

that wasn't just any run-of-the-mill arkansas team.
not apologizing for miles, but not many teams would have kept it close against them that day.

the man is right in the middle of destroying a national championship football team.
I agree completely

if we had scored points in the first half, it would not have been a problem. we were a better team

That's like asking if George Bush should have gotten a third term.
better than the affirmitive action, community organizer,Obama! Wants us to pay health insurance for his brothers so they can breed indiscriminately, and increase the Medicaid shortfall!
Great reason to keep Miles!

How can Les win with Saban's players if he has no idea how to coach talent?
Also what team hasn't gotten lucky before they won a national championship outside maybe USC 2004 ( still think they were lucky they didn't play Auburn) and Texas in 2005? at a certain point it isn't luck 2007 wasn't a fluke we were the best team in the toughest conference with the same amount of loses as almost every other team.

i do not have much faith that les will change, but even the smartest people can screw up..hopefully he has had his eureka moment and will get his shite together...he needs to just stand on the sidelines and appoint the coaching tasks to others who can think at a normal pace...les cannot think on his feet----he's a nice guy, so just let him stand there and let some thinkers do the rest...

It's been two freakin years champ. Oh by the way, these two years would have been alot different if RP was a selfish clown.

White beans, I like your style man. Your definitely in the minority here with all these crazy "sky is falling" fear Mongerers(?). Keep fightin the good fight my man. By the way, when does a man perform his best- when he knows his arse is on the line.

I am sorry tigerlawyer, but I do not agree with paying this man $4 million a year to just stand around like a bum on the sidelines and to appoint others to do his job. We need to dump him now and pay the money. I want a coach who we all can depend on, especially the kids on the team.
Would you invest your money in a company with bad leadership? Hell no!!! Why should we keep him while he is bringing this great school down with his foolishness. Hire a good new CEO who can do the job and develop the kids.
I would really look at this Houston coach. He turned that team around very quickly and his product is exciting.
