That was the consensus from several fans on this board after the Florida loss.

How about during the first half. The game thread is almost unreadable.

ever since aranda arrived in BR, he has installed a bend but don't break defense. it's always full of adjustments to better the opponents offense. the stats are incredible. last night..........all of the credit goes to the secondary. what a performance.

Some fans, especially on this board, have the emotional maturity of middle school girls. One loss, one bad half and we are “hot garbage”. One win and we are on top of the world. We need Prozac in the city water supply for sure!

The loss to the gayturds wasn’t on Dave Aranda.

The one thing I see that I don't like is our DB's and some LB's don't wrap up sometimes. Maybe it's new rules that make them less aggressive but I have noticed it.

Anyone who thinks Aranda is anything other than a great DC is a complete moron

i said he deserved a pass, and half the folks on this board ran their big mouths that he did not. the guy has been almost perfect since he got here. truth is, we played like crap against flordia. but 99.9 percent of the time he has them ready to go.

It seems a lot of posters think if DA's Defense gives up a single point he is overrated and overpaid.

Not at all.. or not until the next time we lose.

Don't you know how this board works?

WIN - praise the program
LOSE - trash the program

It's pathetic, isn't it.

This year’s defense is not nearly as good against the run as many of us hoped and thought. I don’t think that’s Aranda’s fault. It’s mostly because instead of two powerful nose guards we only have half of one. Shelvin washed out, and Alexander’s bad knees cut down his availability. If those two guys were as advertised it would completely change our defensive front. We would have a fresh monster at NG every series, and Fehoko would move back to DE, which would make our thin DE rotation an area of strength.

The disappointing performance against the run has caused the less mature to vent and lash out at Aranda, Orgeron, Gary Danielson, or whomever is at hand.

He certainly responded to fairly levied criticism. Let’s see if the defense looks like this from here on out.

He had a tremendous game plan yesterday. That doesn’t change the fact that he had a poor game plan and his defense executed poorly last weekend.

How does what happened yesterday change or excuse the prior week?

Put it this way ... even after a big win over Georgia, how confident are you in things if Aranda leaves?

No people kept dropping the blame game on O and E but Aranda didn't have his best game either. If one coach gets blame then why shouldn't they all when they have a bad day?

The schemes are fine if you have any clue what you're looking at. People just don't realize that we still have very young WRs learning the offense. Plus a QB who's been here for 4 months. Next year you will see Steve's scheme really open up.

He will have basically what Aranda has to work with this year before all the injuries. This defense would be much different without Chassion out. Same could be said for the OL and the offense.

Everyone just needs to stop the childish BS. That's all I've been saying and it's the truth.

Fans need to understand the SEC has the best coaches. You can’t win every single game scheme wise. It just happens
