I have a good feeling about this wknds game, we may just let our athletes on defense play to there strengths and not the scheme, not saying we pitch a shutout are anything, but I think we have fun and win

Because they are LSU and Vegas considers losses to weaker teams as flukes, at least until those losses accumulate.

While true, the spread against Mizzou fell 6 points after the venue switch and never went back.
Normally a team like LSU wouldn't be -14 in a spot like that so I do think it's notable this spread has stayed.

I have never thought they would be...but I don't believe what we saw in 2 games is who they will be the rest of the year. I expect our defense to improve a ton

We said this after the first week. Couple that with what State and Mizzou have done in the rest of their games, and I think there's plenty reason for concern.
ETA: I want us to turn it around as much as anyone, but I need to see it on the field before I'll believe it.

no doubt it will be tougher but I think the defense is going to be ready. I think pride will show this week...at least that is my hope

I would obviously take Myles playing 10/10 times, but his absence does add some pressure to the team. It forces them to step up and show some pride which could be very good. Everyone needs to be at their very best.
