It's because the program has enjoyed so much success over the last 10 years. Although it is a great thing that the program I've loved for my entire life is currently arguably the pinacle of college football prowess. This brings attention from the media, draws revenue and helps recruiting. However, it also drags these mental midget psuedo fans from the backwater holes in which they have resided for their entire lives. Often sneering at LSU's early accomplishments.

These vile vitriol filled fools will never be happy with the program because they are not fans. They are following the popular sentiment and calling themselves "fans".

What you have are a bunch of complete losers who think that they know more about football than the coach that has steered LSU to 13 wins this year.
They load up on cheap lite beer and tell themselves that they are smart.

It was two bad plays and the 2nd one was because he was afraid to take a hit.

There are approx 4.5 million residents in Lousiana.

90% have bitched over their Christmas bonus this year.

32% of them bitched over who is their Governor.

26% bitch over the Saints defense.

1% bitch over LSU's greatest team.

Donta Hightower was blitzing Lee and Lee couldn't handle it.

Jefferson was able to neutralize Donta Hightower by running the option.

gawd dammit....im going to explain this one more time and then im gonna hijack this thread.

1. JJ was the starter at the beginning of the season...Lee was the backup
2. everyone with half a brain knew that JJ was going to start again eventually
3. Miles decided that after the bama game was the time.
4. Lee is the backup....JJ is the starter.
5. get...the frick...over it

I dont have a problem with it, but if your looking for reasons to explain fan behavior, this one is simple. Lee brought productivity to a position that struggled terribly the last few years. Some fans jumped all over it. Then Lee was taken away with no clear explanation or reason.

I agree with your points, there is simply no way some fans wont take issue with that.

I think most of any complaints are coming from women or woman-like rantards. i saw a FB posting from a chick at the end of the Arkansas game saying how classless Les was for only giving Lee that one snap at the end.

there were 40+ comments and all were in agreement except for the solitary comment that was from a guy.

I feel badly for Lee, but we are winning big and trucking people. This is a dream season, and topping it off with a win over Bama will make it even better.

My only concern is JJ's poor throwing in the SECCG. What if that crops up again against Bama? I don't think it will happen, personally, because for whatever reason JJ plays his best against Bama. But, it is about the only chink in our armor right now.

Enjoying the ride, though.... sippin' on gin and juice....

13-0! I'm happy!

We're great on defense and I'm happy.

We're terrific on special teams and I'm happy.

We're really good running the ball and I'm happy.

I cringe when any of our QBs drop back to throw the ball, but guess what?

I'm happy anyways.

ok.

for some fans, it's only when it's JJ i think

Another thing that angers me about this is that if you take this situation and turn it around the people would have a completely different view on it. If Jarret Lee was getting most of the playing time, you would not hear people screaming and complaining and saying that Jordan Jefferson should be getting more playing time. Everybody would be fine with Jefferson sitting on the sideline and nobody would be saying that Miles is being disrespectful to him by not playing him.

1000% true story.

26% is the New Orleans population percentage. And there, it's unanimous.

Its not exactly insane to wonder aloud why a QB who was 9-0 and among the nations leaders in passing efficiency was suddenly relegated to pop-up duty.

first, lee was never 9-0. he didn't beat bama. second and most importantly, lee is the friggin back up. he was just holding down the fort til Jefferson was ready to take over full time.

Technically he was. Didn't JJ get the "wins" over Florida and Tenn last year?

meh this may be true.. only problem is you sure dont have any proeblems giving JJ credit for Tenn and Fla wins last year.

It just didnt seem that's what JL was doing the first 8 games of the season.. actually it looked like what the majority of LSU fans had been looking for out of our offense past couple years.
UGA vs LSU... revert back to 2010 LSU offense is what that was.
