roughly 1/2 the counties in MS are dry!

Not as bad as Arkansas.

Dry counties in red, wet in blue, mixed in yellow.

WTF, Arkansas?

Don’t stay in Oxford.

Stay in Batesville. $55 a night.

Different ways. Some just allow beer/wine, no liquor, some only allow 3.2% beer, etc...

You don't say much, but when you do say something - it still isn't much.

Sometimes a town may be wet and the county dry, or vice versa.

Rather than Memphis, stay in DeSoto County. It’s just south of Memphis, usually cheaper and more convenient. There is a new Hampton in Hernando and many hotels in Southaven and Olive Branch. Hernando and Southaven sit on I-55 and OB is on 22. Both will get you to Oxford quickly.
