He is an absolute legend out of an obscure school. I’m pretty sure they don’t even exist anymore.

Clayton lined up at safety on defense, but he was a linebacker as well. Played wide receiver on offense as well as QB. He was the best high school player I had ever seen in person. Christian life academy is no more as of 2019.

I was at the LSU-UK game in 2001 at Kentucky and remember Clayton catching the game winning TD at the end of the game. It was a great ending that a lot of people forget about between these 2 teams because of the Bluegrass Miracle in 2002.

probably not known but gerry dinardo recruited him in the 8th grade at christian life.

Michael was at Family Christian in 8th Grade playing QB on one of the most dominant middle school teams ever. Smoked everyone, Redemptorist, Parkview, U-High, Trafton, Episcopal, Christian Life...

If Stefon LeFors isn't hurt, forcing Michael to blay QB, they likely win State. Lost at Port Barre in the Semis.

My sister-in-law worked with him on the TV show in Tampa and he is such a egotistical douche bag. He’s not a great guy like everyone thinks he is self absorbed and treats everyone like dirt.

You could hear the oxygen leave that gys body! One of my favorite Tigers and what an exciting time in LSU history.

Met him a few times over the years always a nice guy.

Didnt he have a drinking problem? My little brother was at LSU with him and said he got on it hard.

wonder if his career would have been different if he had been a safety.

There was talk of moving him there because of depth issue til a guy named LaRon Landry showed up on campus

One of the more underrated WRs for LSU the past few decades. Dude always brought it 100%. Shame in his NFL career he never lived up to his hype past his excellent rookie year. I wonder what happened there?

Clayton's senior year of high school, teams stopped returning punts against them. "Just not worth the risk."

Think about that - you had kids 5'6" or 5'7", in some cases, under 170 pounds attempting to field punts with a cruise missile headed directly for them.

I played football at Uhigh and got to see him up close when we played at Christian Life my freshman year. He was the entire team. Everyone knew it, and he still scored twice if I remember correctly

I believe he’s saying Clayton was laying the lumber on special teams on other team’s return men.

Yes, along with Mewelde Moore and Will Watson. Brad Winters coached the team their one year in existence.
