Tech would probably trade women with any DI-A school, sight unseen ... maybe even any school with a scholarship football team period. There must be schools worse off. At least you've got Southern women for the most part!
Sad, but true. our only saving grace is we are located in Atlanta...plenty of girls around, just off campus lol.
Duke might be worse off...but probably not.

The difference in new and brand new is a pro-style (like everybody else) and the triple option (like nobody else).
If it was a new offense, it would be like some nuances being installed, like some bubble screens, or some new draw plays, but all out of the same formations. In this case, the entire offensive schemes were changed, so the "brand" was also changed from pro-style to the triple option.
What?

Well, Paul Johnson has only installed about 30% of his offense. The run 'n shoot hasn't even been put in yet because of all of the injuries to the offensive line. The QB just hasn't had enough time to be able to set up for those plays yet.
I expect that once Tech is able to get some linemen back and Coach Johnson has a chance to expand his playbook, we'll see a bit more passing. When he was offensive coordinator at Hawaii and ran this offense, not only did they run for over 250 yds/game they also passed for over 250 yds/game.
I think it will be really fun to watch as he begins to add in the new plays.

Interesting post. That stuff is pretty impressive, except the thing about ya'll passing too. Ya'll are one dimensional

Injuries...I don't think Nesbit even played. That is why Tech's offense is horrible without Nesbit.

Against Gardner-Webb, GA Tech had lost both of their starting QB's and most of their starting offensive line.
Both QB's that ended up playing were scout QB's that run the pro-style offenses for our defense to play against so the entire offensive schemes were totally out of whack. We had pro-style QB's trying to run a triple option offense along with new offensive linemen who weren't really sure who they were supposed to block, or how they were supposed to block them...it was almost like the Keystone Cops.

Other teams have brought this up repeatedly over the season...but not teams that beat Troy 31-30 with their regular starters in.
If your question was not meant to be sarcastic, then basically we played the worst possible game we could have on top of having our 3rd string slowpoke passing QB in. We didn't even run the option, we called "Dive", "Keep", or "Pitch" before the play started.

I think the most interesting thing besides watching the GA Tech offense is their youth. If Johnson can keep them from getting the big head, GA Tech should win the ACC at least once out of the next two years.

Yeah welcome. Not everybody here is a jerk. Dwyer is a player...I think we recruited that guy.
