throws down the seam are some of the hardest to make fwiw.

seam throws and deep outs are very, very difficult throws.

i have had this argument with idiots for years....they say if you can touch the ball then you should be able to catch it . If you jump as high as you can and touch it with one finger, you can't catch it.

He's a fricking Junior on scholly at a major university. The motherfricker should be able to make that throw.

I'm no JJ apologist. He had a good game, but I doubt any of you will admit that.

I said it wasn't a good throw.

But bad throws get caught all the time.

OK, maybe he shoud have tried one-handed, so he could get his fingers a little higher.......If we have to rely on making those catches we are done. Regardless who our receivers are.

don't worry, he'll eventually get a qb who can get it to him

100% incorrect. Although I would not call his game "good". I have stated many times he was the more effective QB for our Tigers this weekend. He executed the offense.

His piss poor through on that drive, contributed 95% to the interception which fired up Auburn. We seemd unable to dig our selves out after that.

This, however, is a thread about the INT.

I'll admit it, but its not because he throws the ball with any kind of fricking skill. He had a good game with his feet and the occasional decent throw. You want to know why WRs are dropping his balls, because he hangs his guys out to dry with his terrible throws, just like this one.

For sure.

But doesn't mean an average high schooler should.

You make it sound like it all went downhill after that. We were tied up in the 4th and had plenty of chances to win.

If Jarrett Lee was playing receiver on that play he would have made the catch easily FWIW.

I agree that the drops have something to do with the fact that he doesn't throw a catchable ball.

In this situation and on the throw previous to it, he shouldn't have been put in that position. He's proven to be inept in the pocket... why put him there?

Let him rollout. We're in FG range. If he gets 5 of the 8, may even be territory to go for it.

Let him know we are all pulling for him and all the Tigers (JJ and JL included). Need to put this behind them and get ready for next week. Auburn will not go undefeated.

Do you not see his hands are on the ball?

It wasn't a very catchable ball but RR could have come down with it.

Get back to class, JJ!
