It would appear to me that the fact that the coach was not allowed to roster the two athletes in question and that eventually the two empty roster spots were filled with other players would be a demonstration of good institutional control.
If this has been addressed previously give me the spanking emoji.

I think it was the right move in this ridiculous, unprecedented situation but I was okay with trying and being conservative (ie not adding and playing them last week)

Actually it’s not bc if lsu had institutional control, they would have been nipped this by the bud. They allowed Kiffin to push this issue until the sec filed an NV amendments suit. The ad and president allowed Kiffin to push this issue.

How so? They had both said they are cooperating and will follow the rules and dud just that. Even though those players have a TRSO. Not sure how much more “institutional control you can expect. No one is screaming about ole miss talking to these guys prior to LSU nor are they talking about the QB who is ruled ineligible at the NCAA, sued, got an TRSO and is playing. Same scenerio. Ole Miss is playing an ineligible QB.
