Is correct me if I'm wrong - but dang this group is made of sugar. Never seen so many Baseball players injured mid way through the year. They need to stop throwing back out in swings ( White ) and overextending on pitching.

Listen to a few D1 Baseball podcasts to see just how many teams are dealing with injuries to pitchers and position players before judging ours.

Then offer analysis and data to support.

What players have had injuries outside of freak injuries? (White and Dugas shoulder, Morgan running into the wall, Kling severe hamstring injury)

No one is missing time cause of "sugar" injuries as you put it.

overextending on pitching
what pitchers have been over extended?

Can you give us examples and contrast of teams and players who don’t “throw their backs out swinging or overextend pitching?” Really curios to see what that comparison looks like.

Turns out, injuries happen in sports.

How would you suggest we go about not injuring our guys?

Tell Dugas not to lay out? Tell Kling to not run so fast? Tommy, don't swing so hard? Tre, don't get him by the pitch?

Sure - It actually has to do with the shape you're in and you can measure it by exit velocities / swing speeds usually - at least in plain terms. In the instance of Tommy white hes definitely tweaked his back a little bit and has been dinged up all year I was just hope he comes in better shape in the next year and takes a little bit of weight off - And for those of you that obviously don't know your core is where most of the strength comes from.

He's 6 lbs lighter in his sophomore year than in his freshman year, you know as the Freshman homerun leader.

That isn’t showing a contrast between what we do and teams who play the way you’re advocating for. White was hurt running the bases so not sure how his swing speed caused the injury to his leg? You’re saying the guys are not in shape, do you have any info or data to support that?
