I do not know why there are so many pitching injuries. I agree with others that Dunn needs to go. But, a big part of problem...I think....is the pressure that’s on the whole team. One walk...one error...leads to big innings because everyone is nervous. They need someone like Bertman to pump them up & that’s never been PM’s strength. I think he knows baseball but he sounds whiny when talking to the press. Motivation doesn’t seem to be his strength.

“Arm soreness” is not an “injury”.

Coaching has always seemed to be a weakness as well.

Our pitching injuries killed us this year, just a fact.

Pressure makes or breaks. Brad Wilson is a good friend of mine. He played from 92-96. Skip kept trying to find a position for him because he was a good left handed hitter. They tried him in the outfield to no avail and were trying him at first base. He was fielding ground balls and and Skip , in front of everyone, told him, "Wilson, it's not your fault seeee, it's your dad's. He should've pulled out and blown his load down your mother's leg..."
Brad hit a double in his senior year to lead off the inning against Miami in the 1996 NCG. He scored the tying run on Warren Morris's HR.
Moral of this anecdote is, Skip put pressure on his kids daily and never coddled.Thats why he always had a kid come out of nowhere in those six team regionals, like Rantz for one game, Sirotka as a freshman, etc. They were tested by his psychology.

Only a part of the equation. Our fielding has been less-than-stellar in the back half of the season as well. Booting ground balls, losing fly balls in the lights. Those are mistakes other teams are normally pressured into by LSU, not vice-versa. This is a team collapse.

I’m sorry, are we the only team to have injuries?

Are we the only team to have no left handed arms as well?
