Is he a pure guard or does he have tackle potential?

Hannigriff stated emphatically a few days ago that Ingram is the best Olineman at LSU, but that was before he saw Magee's pancake blocks. We comin!

Idk. I'm just glad we have a frickin tiger tank like him to block for burrow and give him more time and a better pocket...also open bigger holes in the run game and reach the 2nd level of defenders. He's just really good and he will be the best lineman we along with cushenberry in my opinion.

NFL Guard is his future.

Really hoping he's in as best shape as possible because he's awesome.

All I’ve heard is unofficially it’s official he’s back

Did I miss dropping the unofficial part of that? Or are we still in wait and see mode?

While OT wouldn't be that far of a stretch, the potential isn't that great.

As great as his stance-explosion is, his first step is just the opposite. Btw, his posture and explosion is one of the things that made him a well above average freshman OG.

My biggest concern at OT for him would be hands, his length included in that. I don't think he has the training or natural length needed for the required hand work of an OT. If DEs/LBs can create space through handwork, his lack of length would then be a bigger disadvantage.

Ingram will help, but LSU seems to be using different run blocking technique.

Oline does not get push like they used to when more run oriented.

Everyone is assuming, including BR radio jocks, that Ingram will play some snaps vs Utah St.

No he’s not an option at tackle and doesn’t need to be. He will upgrade the line no matter where he plays. He will be the starting LG when we play Florida. He and Saahdiq are fantastic run blockers so we should improve in the run game.

They're switching back to a zone run blocking scheme I believe.
