I think if LSU's pitchers throw as they did during spring scrimmages, and our offense produces a few runs, we'll be hard to beat. However, if either has an off day, I can see Indiana taking a game from the Tigers. I'm hoping we are ready to play some good ball this weekend and sweep the Hoosiers.

Indiana is a quality program and a very respectable first-weekend opponent.
Indiana also had 10 guys drafted off last year's team. They're starting three kids they picked up as grad transfers (one who rode the pine at Kentucky, one who was pretty good at Samford and one who hit .206 at Western Kentucky last year), and a freshman.
And they lost all three of their weekend starters.
And they're a northern team, which means even with a warmer-than-normal winter they should be at a disadvantage this early in the season.
The guess is they'll be a nice team. If LSU doesn't win the series, though, there will be plenty enough reason for grumbling. LSU Baseball has stagnated for the last two years and this season is either a comeback year that re-establishes the program among the elite or it's a 2015 Les Miles kind of thing where you can start to question whether it's too stale to put back together without major changes.
So setting the right tone is important, and it starts now.
