Anybody feel like the line can hold against a front four from Alabama that is NFL ready? I think all other phases (hopefully ST too) are basically equal, but this concerns me.

This is the key to the entire game. Their OL hasn't been dominating in recent years. Their DL is good. Our OL has to step up even after playing well last game.

I think our dbs and QB are much more of an issue than healthy OL. Those boys on the OL have grown up. Bryce will torch our secondary I'm concerned, and JD has shown little promise with locating and delivering accurately on down field passes. Saban will force him to do that well to beat bama, you can count on that.

Not that our D Line hasn’t been doing well but this is a game where having a Maason Smith helps you tremendously. The weather may be a factor and if it turns into a running game battle we need the rotation guys to be fresh.
The crowd will be crucial for our guys, so show up and get LOUD.

Smith for sure and there are 2 more that I think will be future picks. Excuse my hyperbole, but they are a very solid front four. Which was the problem with FSU who also has a front 4 much better than the rest of the D.

Yeah. I’m not following that either. I think the secondary is fine and I don’t know how anyone can say JD is a greater concern than the line at this point either.

Beating Bama comes down to getting the ball to your WR's in one-on-one situations down field. Not quick slants and quick outs. Not read option. All downfield.
If you can't keep them somewhat on their heels, that's when that D-Line and those Blitz schemes can do what they do.

Our biggest disadvantage is our secondary against their receivers and Young. They don’t have their best set of WRs, but our secondary is, by far, the worst unit on this LSU team. They are gamers, just not top talent like we are used to.
