In all seriousness, can you debate topics without resorting to needless name-calling and taunting?
Hold on here. I called Z dumb because we have a history and he said something completely off-topic about the Cowboys that he now edited.

Tigerdandy comes in trolling, check his post history and the substance within.

Other than that, I have stated my case with facts only.

You edited you post to include information about Nutt, etc. Your original post was to paraphrase, "Cowboys fans aren't too concerned about their Dec/Jan record now." How about a month ago?

Yes, time and improvement can change things. But how is the Cowboys actually doing it effect LSU?

I've also looked at your post history...you do it more than you need to.

Not trying to start a secondary argument here - just saying that I enjoy your posts more when you do more of the fact stating and less of the "troll" stating.

Agreed.

I start a new thread about once every few weeks at most. I prefer to discuss issues than call people names, but it can be difficult when their only argument is name calling only.

Completely agree.

I wish others would knock it off as well.

In the last two seasons, LSU has lost 3 of their last 5 games both seasons. That's a .400 winning percentage at the end of year, both seasons.

That doesn't bother you sunshine pumpers?
Qb in o8 and bust up rb's and O-line in 09. Don't like it but the sky is not falling !Why, Recruits and coachiung additions.

You can have a dominant football program with a head coach that manages the team like Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno do, so Miles staying or going isn't as big a deal to me. We desperately need to let some coaches go and bring in some new ones though. and if Les won't do that, his job should be on the line next season.

Hah. That's the worst argument ever.

What the frick are you talking about? The players NFS brought in and coached had a mindset that has not been in Baton Rouge since those guys left. The 05-07 teams lost regular seasons games ONLY when the ole Hatt was really outcoached. And he had more luck then than Bilbo Baggins.

So can Nick thank Shula for his title?

If you think Nick to Les is the same as Shula to Saban I can see why you went to Rummel

Yeah, that's why.

I love you guys that still use that as a put-down.

To answer your question - no, I do not think the scenarios regarding the coaches are the same.

I love Nick (and this is not a Saban/Miles debate) and still wish he was here.

Did Miles inherit Saban's great players - of course. But he still had to call plays, manage people, hold practices...he still had to coach.

Could any other coach have won with Saban's players as well? We'll never know.

But I do know that Miles did.

You asked if fans were worried. I made the comparisson that the Cowboys sucked at the end of the season, and are now doing fine. Basically, if the Cowboys can do it LSU can to. I dunno, maybe I have no point. Maybe I'm just happy Dallas is going to win a playoff game?

Yeah, but could anybody else lost a 21 point lead to Tennessee at home, Not scored a TD at Auburn. Blown the game in Lexington by not running SC in the second half?

Could Saban? Was this win more about Colt or more about Nick?

Bama wins that game no matter who was playing QB for UT.

The only reason UT got close was because Bama took their foot off the peddle, as soon as they got close again, Nick dropped the hammer.
