FACT

No...not so much.

Tommy Casanova had been retired several years before you were born. You never saw him play. How could you possibly have any knowledge of 37's abilities?

I only speak the truth

quote:

Opposing quarterbacks tested Asomugha only 27 times with 8 completions allowed the entire season. Only perennial all-pros Randy Moss (3 receptions, 40 yards) and Tony Gonzales (2 receptions, 34 yards) would catch more than one ball on him during the year.

fricking sick.

Players were timed in the 40 as early as 1966
their times were recorded. So much in this rant is totally untrue, you should not speak if you havent got a clue. TC was as good as anybody
ever to play at LSU. He would be a star today.

Tommy Casanova is the best man to ever play football for LSU.

No doubt in my mind whatsoever. The best football player to put on an LSU uniform and grace the field of Tiger Stadium...

Italian Stallion, John Musso, on a sidelines

Up till a couple years ago, he was the last White RB in the SEC to break 1,000 yds. in a season. A guy named Hester took that one over.

Casanova under today's training regemine wouldn't be bad, but he would be second team all SEC.

All of you young guys (I'm not an old fart, just somewhere in between) who have never seen Casanova play really have no business giving an opinion on him. If you were around (I was about 10-12) and saw him play, you can compare him to today's players. Casanova could flat out play and I've never seen a corner dominate a receiver like he did. He blanketed, he hit..I mean he HIT, and he was fast. He had a real knowledge of how to play the game. Not many players had the ability he did.
