"I knew a good bit going into the two games I started, but during this camp we went through practically the whole playbook and still got some more to add," he said. "So it's probably multiplied by a couple of numbers from the number of plays I knew last year. I probably have more than 150 plays that I know. Probably only knew 50 last year. Being my second year in the system, I feel a lot more comfortable because coach Crowton is helping me become a great quarterback with his plays."

“I’ve had the whole summer to grasp what I needed to learn,” the sophomore said. “Now I’m ready to go out there and read defenses and win some games.”

"We can throw it," LSU coach Les Miles said after the Tigers defeated Vanderbilt 23-9 Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. "There isn't any question. I like our throwing game."
quote:
"He's a playmaker," Miles said. "That's the kind of quarterback he is and is going to be. This guy is a tremendous competitor, and he wants at it."

quote:
"You can see it in his eyes now when he steps into that huddle," senior offensive tackle Ciron Black said. "It's the way he talks to guys. It's the way he calls plays. It's the way he makes you feel comfortable that he's going to get it done.

"Coach Crowton is coming up with some new things this year so I'll be able to use my ability to run and pass a lot more," Jefferson said. "It's always harder for a defense to stop a quarterback who has the arm strength but can also use his legs, and that's what we're aiming for this year."
quote:
"We've got a chip on our shoulders," Jefferson said. "We've got a point to prove this year. We want to let everybody know that LSU hasn't gone anywhere. I know a lot of teams have us circled on their schedule.
"That's OK, because we've got a lot teams circled, too."
Pretty sure he knows the fricking playbook you arse clown.
BT, you can take your ignorant comments and shove them up your arse.
The downfield plays are suffering from JJ being constantly on the move, due to an O-line that is not as good as last year... yet.
If Jarrett lee would have started and played the last two games, do you even realize the amount of sacks he would have due to his lack of mobility behind center?

so you chose this
quote:
have the audactity to tell me thats not what I really meant.
face it, you say that b/c I don't like JJ as much as you,,,, its not that I dislike him, I just dont cheerlead for as you do and it pisses you off.
Thats the bottom line... numerous posts for the past several moths can prove it.
quote:
I would hope so cause I dont want to expirence the night mare known as Jarret Pick six Lee again.
Unfortunatly for you.. you have no clue how stupid it makes you look when you post shite like that.
quote:
He is slowly expirence more and more of it but since our Oline is so pathetic its hard to run plays that take longer to develope in the backfield
You got your panties in a wad last night b/c of the weather excuse i commented about.. I see tonight you have moved on to blaming the OLINE..
Funny thing about this is you didnt or excuse me COULDNT dispute my point on why JJ doesnt have full grasp of the playbook.
Even though you are too proud to admi it,, dont worry I know you agree, you dont have to type it.
quote:
Yes you do, you always do.
Give me one example where Ive said anything about race.
Just one. Please.

so the o-line is good?
what two games were you watching?
surely not the LSU vs. washington and vandy ones...

How did a debate about who should play in a blow out turn into a JJ vs Lee debate?
IMO:
Lee should get first shot at playing in a blowout and depending on how he looks play Shepard. If he looks good and leads them to another score, put Shep back there and see what he can do.

I agree.
BT is the one who think JJ doesn't know the playbook, when clearly he does.
the o-line has to get better at pass protection for LSU to start taking shots downfield.
any casual football fan could see that as evidenced by the last two games.

Both let lee throw and let shep run

No cause I dont want either QB to go through that again!

No the Oline has not played to there potential. Simple Fact.

Wow, using this can you prove to me he doesnt know the play book? Or is it just because you say he doesnt know it, it must be true?

Uh shall I pull out the Sambo comment you made?

me neither, but to incinusate if JL plays thats whatll happen as many of you do is what makes you look stupid.

I agree, however not playing up to its potential isnt the same as being the "cause" of the problem.

Dude seriously, if you wanna make yourself believe that a guy that has the exp level that JJ has ..knows the whole playbook, then have at it.
FWIW the boy crush/fan in you is taking over good common sense.
quote:
Uh shall I pull out the Sambo comment you made?
yeah.. so what I called a dude named (sammobile) (sambo)...
unthinkable how I came up with that huh??...clearly that was race driven.
GTFO with that shite.
Furthermore please tell me what that has to do with JJ or JL?
Also I suspect that if someone who agrees 100% with you on LSU qb's would have called sam that, nothing would have been said.
Once again it all comes back to you not liking JL and me not liking JJ the way you do.
Actually its pretty sad we cant have a diff in opionion on qbs and race NOT be involved.
Once again I Have NEVER brought it up.
And you know it.. nice try though.

Lee's the backup...the guy who would start should JJ go down, so he gets the snaps JJ would get.

Yay, another JJ vs JL debate with BT
