Win 3 national championshipa with 3 DIFFERENT Head Coaches

2003-Saban, 2007-Miles, 2019-Orgeron.

3 completely different dudes.

1 location/program

That's a powerful statement about the level of a Program at LSU.

I know,I know...don't get ahead of ourselves,..but it's just an interesting idea.

Miles and Orgeron best attributes are recruiting and motivation.
One was dline coach the other an oline coach.

It seems O was willing to fix issues and miles wasnt at the end.

It just reinforces what's been known for a long time.

The talent is here, all it needs is the right Coach to put it all together.

In a 17-year span,
We watched a man come in and build this program to a national contender and brand. That man left, and came back but to a rival university.

His successor here sustained the university's prestige for years, though it began to trend downward when his predecessor began to absolutely own him. The predecessor had built yet another bigger, stronger and more powerful empire.

Eventually when the successor was fired, he was replaced by a Louisiana native who, by all counts, was a miserable failure as a head coach in his one full time coaching gig at another division school...

And now the Louisiana native is on the cusp of upending the dynasty of the man who originally built it here at LSU and left to build another.

This is full circle stuff.

even look at auburn who has their fair share of 6-6,7-5 seasons, I have never seen a more consistently winning program in the power 5
