I think we are 2-7 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock since Arky joined the SECW. Something about that place has us jinxed.

7-5
9-3
10-2

Yes, that's very telling. How about you stop being a dick, and stick to the same argument you've been using, "Last 2 Years"

09-10
6-4 vs the SEC West
5-1 vs the SEC East

2-0 vs Miss St
1-1 vs Bama
1-1 vs Ole Miss
1-1 vs Auburn
1-1 vs Arkansas

0-0 vs South Carolina
2-0 vs Vanderbilt
1-0 vs Tennessee
1-1 vs Florida
0-0 vs Kentucky
1-0 vs Georgia

That is 0 losing records against western div. teams.

You mean those 2 years where we were never in serious contention for winning the West?

3-5

how about we look at the last 3 years when he was finally playing with his talent and recruits.

They were his players the day he took the job. And he's recruited just as well if not better than the previous coach so its kind of a moot point.

The question has been at QB. Its pretty obvious.

By whom? By the sportswriters that crowned Alabama with a dynasty?

yeah, the proof is in the pudding. Miles is great at developing talent.

That's b/c good QBs are generally smart people.

We weren't much better this year than last year.

The West was won in November when we played Alabama in 2009. The winner of that game had effectively clinched the Western division. So yeah, we were in VERY hot contention for winning the division that year.

Alabama 8-0
LSU 7-1
Auburn 6-3
Mississippi 5-3
Arkansas 4-4
Mississippi State 4-5

The Arkansas game is a thorn in our side. It's hard to get up for them and it's always when Arky is playing their best football at seasons end. I think we need to prepare better. At least the SEC west was not at stake this year.

So we couldn't get up for Arkansas back in 2007 when the National Championship game was on the line? We couldn't get up for Arkansas this year with a BCS game on the line? Seriously?

Good teams play their best football towards the end of the season. Alabama was our best game of the year, each game after that was hardly our best effort.

Offense was abysmal against ULM, defense was abysmal against Ole Miss, and the team just gave up against Arkansas.

It would be shocking if LSU is not considered the favorites to win the SEC in 2011.

Prepare to be shocked. Alabama and if Cam stays for his senior season Auburn will be picked ahead of LSU. Mississippi State is trending up and not sure how Arkansas will be perceived after loosing Mallett. LSU will be picked pre-season 3 or 4 next year.

Like yourself, I'm gonna enjoy 10-2 and hopefully a trip to the Cotton Bowl.

You better believe I can enjoy 10-2 and a nice bowl game vs another big time football program with a shot at 11-2!

I am a "89-94 LSU football fan surviver" when we lived in Bottom 10, never sniffed a Top 20, or any freaking bowl game at all!

Some will have to pardon me if I can't get my panties in a wad bout how ugly they want to make 10-2 and Top 10 in the BCS out to be or how disappointed they are in how a win came bout.

Each to our own, but I'll take 10-2 and NR and just say:

"Thank you very much, LSU football team!!"

We were playing for a opportunity to play in a BCS bowl (prabably Sugar). Is this not motivation enough for the coaching staff and team?

This is laughable...name the last time Mississippi State had a victory of any consequence.

It's more of a Nutt mastery of Miles than it is an Arkansas jinx.

I'm happy Les got LSU to a 10-2 record this year and I'm not saying he needs to be fired after going 10-2. I do think the last three yeasr are pretty telling when it comes to the future of this program.

The two years that RP screwed LSU are not an indication to the direction of the program. Some people can not be happy no matter what at LSU. Les is a great coach and will continue to coach at LSU for years to come get over it.

So we lose our top 3 players on defense along with our best 2 special teamers and return the QB that led us to the 84th ranked offense, and that says "SEC favorites" to you?

I'm pretty sure we only have 9 scholarship seniors, as opposed to 28 at AU and 15 at Bama (estimate)we're definatlely frontrunners in the West and the East should be down next year again, good job on being negative as hell though

What's crazy is all those wins and we are a combined 10 wins in 3 years out of a tie for the SEC West Crown. 5 wins, 3 wins, and 2 wins this year from a tie.
