I guess when you have nothing to post, you post bullshite.

Who the frick was talking about Flynn?

Flynn had 10 pass attempts during his freshman year. That doesn't begin to compare to Russell's 144 pass attempts.

Lee had a better stat line because he assumed the starting role as a freshman. JR could not. Ergo, Lee had the best freshman season since Hodson.
Lee assumed the starting role and Russell didn't? How did Lee do in his bowl game his freshman year, you know, since he assumed the starting role as a freshman?

Wait, the one he didn't play in because of injury? Or are you suggesting that Miles started JJ over the QB who has now led LSU to their greatest start, EVAH?

Nah, Miles isn't that poor of a judge of QB talent. Because I wonder where Lee would be had he started the last 2 years, huh? I mean he's only the 12th rated qb in all of college football.

Miles is a terrific judge of talent.

Is this a trick question? Wouldn't Lee still be at LSU? Do you think he would transfer? Do you think he would have left early for the NFL?

He is . . . now.

Really? So Saban isn't? Remind me who Saban had as starting QB for the bowl game of JRs freshman year?

Because it wasn't JR. And I thought you inferred that JR assumed the starting role, and never looked back?

Damn. You are dumber than dirt. We are talking about Lee and Russell.

First, you bring in Flynn comparisons out of the blue.

Now, you bring in Saban comparisons out of the blue.

Go take your adderall and try to focus on the topic.

You are really starting to impress me with your ignorance. I mean, I knew you were dumb, but you're taking it to a whole new level in this thread.

First, when people make statements in a post, they might be implying something if they don't say it directly; however, the only the reader can infer something from the post.

REVIEW: speakers imply; readers infer.

Second, I never implied that Russell assumed the starting role in his freshman year. You're the one who implied that Lee took over the starting role in his freshman year. I merely implied that Russell and Lee shared time with other QBs during their respective freshman year.

So, JR had the better freshman year, yet wasn't even the starter. That's a winning argument right there.

To be honest, I never lost my patience with Lee in 2008. I always believed he had talent and could succeed.

We were terrible in 2008 because of our atrocious fricking defense. Unforgivable.

The D under MALLOVETO was horrendous that year. however,The D did not lose that game though. NOT AT ALL. It was actually one of their better outings that year. They created TO's also that game. 4 INTs from lee did not help them that game at all either. along with a pick 6. The D showed up that game.

any ranter with a lick of sense should know this. Even with Lee's 7 pick sixes we were still ranked 55th in offense that year and still averaged 30 PPG. we did not do so well against bama. INT's hurt us though along with pick 6. D showed up that game. they just did not show up many others that year it seemed.

ah, the bad old days.

I thought OC Crowton was insane.

I lost it with him in the Auburn game.

I don't blame him much for 2008, but the Bama game is one exception.

Just because they had a better game, didn't mean they showed up. On their 1st play in OT, the defense gave up a 24 yard pass play to Bama. 1st and goal from the 1, for the win.

As frustrating a season as it was, he had me until Alabama. I pretty much shuddered when he came into the game before this year. I think losing to Bama at TS in OT in 2008 still sticks with him, and this will be the game of his career. He has shown me he is a fighter.

Why even post this?

2008 doesn't matter. He's not that QB anymore.

2009 doesn't matter. He's not that QB anymore.

2010 doesn't matter. He's not that QB anymore.

2011 matters. He's efficient and just about mistake free.

Forget it.

I'd say that TIsuGGER is intentionally obtuse, except that he's given no indication that it's intentional.

He'll ignore facts that are right in front of his nose.

Then he'll argue that it's not his nose.
