Impressive coaching last two weeks

I have to say, I was never sold on O and DID NOT want him to be the HFC of LSU. He wasn’t even on my list of favorable candidates. But he got the job. I chose to have the mindset of giving him 2-3 years of proving himself, after what I saw this past season and the way the team responded and rallied around him(except for the Alabama and Florida games, he had that offense humming in ways Miles could never do.) I was never sold and became very skeptical after the Troy lost. For the first time in my life I questioned why I would I bother watching theses games. Then we win in Florida and we win against Auburn. And I have to say, he coached those games very impressively. Time management and the decisions that were made worked and were brilliant. I am still iffy, but I definitely have a little more confidence in Coach O. Geaux Tigers.

I grew he handled the game, especially that fourth quarter very well. Let’s see how we play down the stretch before we get too far ahead of ourselves.

Boy, that doesn't sound familiar. How much do you get paid?

I’m still not sold on Coach O but I have to give credit where credit is due. He, his staff, and the players have had two great games these past 2 weeks. I’m not going to act like I didn’t see that first Qtr, I said here we go. But it really made me feel good to see them fight back even if they would have lost, I love the passion they are playing with especially Devine White.

If he beats Ole Miss I may start thinking he can do the job.

Between preparation, adjustments and just holding things together during games - under adversity - this was an excellent job, and I must credit O as he's at the top, as well as the coordinators (one of which he hired).
It isn't pretty. We need a killer recruiting season to set up a run next year. Crazy as it sounds, we're still alive for the playoffs this year, although it would be nothing short of miraculous, even with wins against Florida and Auburn.
But, we need more linemen, to replace a legendary feature back, have a normal (or better) QB progression with Brennan - a lot of things have to go right for this improvement to be sustained.
IF all of it happens, I will not be sympathetic to those who still want to bash O about shite that happened over a decade ago. If it doesn't, then those critical will have objective support.
Exciting times...

There was some good coaching.
Our best coaches are Aranda and Canada, so I assume they deserve credit.
But with our screwy system, there really is no accountability, positive or negative, for the coaches.
I'm thinking it is best for O to stay out of the way and let those guys do what they do and have Da Coach O give motivational talks at the half.

with 55 posts you seem like you might have a job and do not live with parents. Good for you. Most on here don't have what you have.
