Playing two QBs is usually a sign that you don’t have one at all.

I don't disagree. I definitely agree that Clark should get playing time, with our without SL in the game. SL is a better RB than he is a QB anyway. He could sub in and out of the game with Clark and Jones and give the defense fits as to what the play call could be.
We definitely need more creativity in our offense. Inside runs by Jones, and scrambles by SL just aren't going to get it done against the better teams on our schedule.
I believe Clark is the better QB but because so much money was invested by donors to get SL, I presume they would not be happy to see their investment on the sidelines. That makes it a tough call for LK and I understant that. Such is the NIL world today.

The main reason—besides his ridiculous playmaking ability—he is able to run like he does is because he does it from the QB position. He’s not lining up behind the QB and taking handoffs and doing all that crazy playmaking. Which, even as much as we talk about it, is still underrated. Not just because of WHAT he does, but WHEN he does it. It got lost in our loss, but he pulled some crazy shite out of his arse on several “have to have it” plays. Based on what, exactly? A few no pressure drives and about 10 passes against a bunch of backups on overmatched teams who had already conceded the game? EVERYBODY who’s seen both practice say Sam is better, and it’s not even close. What you, and a lot of posters, mean when you say “better QB” is a “better passer.” Completely discounting his running. Which is a big part of all QBs’ games, whether positive or negative.
Clark probably does throw a prettier ball. That’s really what you mean. And he can run a little. But he can’t run like Sam. And it can’t continue exactly like this for us to have a great season, but Sam’s running has been one of the biggest parts of our offense. Combined with Jones’ and without Green now, it might be the biggest. We have to obviously figure out the passing game and he’s got to get better there for sure, but his running ability is going to continue to be a huge part of this offense all season. His feet move the chains. They get in the end zone. Pretty important for an offense.
