I when I read this. I honestly think you are joking. Just making light of the early difficulties Mett is experiencing as a first time starting QB in the SEC.

Good one... again...

You obviously are a guy that watches football and not a football guy. Thats the biggest problem on this board. Some people think that I am bashing Mett and want JJ back. That is the farthest from the truth but you can't wrap your head around the football aspect of what Im saying. You see something and instead of comprehending you think, " this is my chance to look sooo cool and make fun of this guy".

You can check my post history on that one. I like Mett and think he will be a very good QB. Possibly starting this weekend.

Good lord I was asking out of curiosity. But no, I played college basketball. You need to calm down, it's the fricking internet.

If you don't mind, what position did you play?

I'm always curious as to the ex-athletes on here. I won't ask what school.

Defensive tackle and End. Played 3 years and got injured before my senior year. Coached high school ball for 2 years, before I realized that other jobs paid way better. Only coach my sons flag team now.

Awesome, so you're a big fella.

I played point guard in college. NAIA thoguh. Being white and short doesn't translate to Division 1

Started out D2 and earned a D1 offer. Too short and possibly too white for LSU squad. Free education is just fine with me though.

I'm starting to realize why we need a mobile QB.

We suck at pass blocking!

Wouldnt hurt I guess. I think Mett will be fine, but I think Les makes sure that qb's he recruits in the future will have at least decent speed. Matt Flynn like.

If you don't have a line coach that can teach seniors how to pass block then true.....recruit nothing but mobile qbs.....cause you'll need them.

Posters need to realize that if we dot fumble the last two games, we blow both teams out.
Take away the fumbles and we are good to go. UF let Kentucky rush for 159,A&m for 140 and BG for 110. Our running game is far better than all of these.

Had to bump because this weekend has made feel like our offense has to have a mobile qb. Its the only way we can be effective. We dont extend drives and pick up as many first downs because it is even easier to stack the box on us now with a statue at qb. I think Mett is a good qb but he will not get to show it because of the terrible pass blocking and WR drops. If he had some wheels we would be able to do alot more on offense and pick up a lot more of the short first downs, keeping our defense fresher.

This statement was true on Friday. Not so much on Sunday. Sucks

When Mett achieves his desired pocket awareness (with a little help from the OL and WR), the LSU offense will be a spectacular thing to watch.

I guess your looking forward to next year.
