Look up their coaches quote about our linemen when we beat his arse at Oregon. “We don’t have guys that look like that.”
Guess what.
His linemen looked better at Oregon than they do at ucla.
The only way they have success is misdirection and trick plays. They don’t score over 10.

I've gone on record with a 37-20 prediction in favor of the good guys, but I've done more research on UCLA. I think this game is gonna be a hard fought, close game

And now you’re on record for being a puddin’.

Ok. That’s one guy. What about a Dline full of them?

That wasn’t what he was refuting. The guy said even freshman Smith is better than ANYONE they faced.

Don't watch, don't listen, don't check on TD for updates. Save it up for a very nice surprise when you check the score Sunday morning.

The Tiger rush is going to demoralize them. At least 2 bad throws by a rushed QB will be picked off by the Stingley/Ricks combo, and one of those will be a pick six.

Tigers 42
Bruins 10

I just watched the Ole Miss game again, and I'm a little more optimistic. Max and Boutte had a great game. The defense, although beset with injuries, played reasonably well. That game depended on a defensive stop, and they got it.

Our defense is solid

But it’s the same defense from last year.

Couldn’t that say the same for us from last year

Hawaii is no walk in the park and can upset UCLA. LSU will have game tape on UCLA.

Main reason I’m concerned is that I don’t think Max is capable of throwing the ball consistently, from what I’ve seen last season. Sure he can run, but they’ll just try to contain him that way and make him beat them in the air. I just don’t see him being able to do that.

After the Covid year, home field advantage is going to be huge this year.

Ok if you truly feel that way, then there is some good news. There will probably be more LSU fans at the game then UCLA, that is actually kinda common for UCLA. And if we don’t have more we will have roughly the same and we are twice as loud so, it will be a joke game for us!

I think the players are going to get hyped up to play in California and back in front of crowds. I think our offense might have some times where they have to get in a rhythm but I think our D has just too much talent on it that just not having a coach that was dreaming about the golf course running it will make us a good unit. We should be able take their 2 best players out of the fane every week with Stingley and Ricks and our DL is the best in a decade. Hopefully 1 guy can step up to man the Mike LB spot, that’s my only real concern. Hopefully it’s someone like Bugg Strong or Mike Jones since he’s moved inside now but I won’t be at all surprised if it’s Clark or Baskerville.

from what ive seen of last years UCLA team, they like to run up the middle and play soft zone.

Good luck trying that shite on us

OLine will determine how this plays out. Understand its the first game of the year but these guys have been together for a while now. Time to stop with the excuses and start playing better as a unit. If they play well and get better as the year goes then this will be a good to great year. Injuries could be a key as well.

Don't forget this is UCLA we are talking about. When is the last time they have been good and relevant in football?

UCLA gives away tickets to their student section EVERY year in games played weeks before their students are back on campus. UCLA starts classes after Sept 20.

Ok but do they always give away free tickets to anyone in a youth sports league? Do they always give free admission to high school students in California?!?

I don’t think so. LSU will UCLA out
