So u are saying every kid is NFL ready from day 1. Our players learn nothing while here for 3-5 years?

91 wins. Someone had to coach these players. You don't win that many games without being a good coach. Explain to me how saban has lost to an inferior Les miles 3 times?

Les Miles is not LSU. Please understand that. I love LSU and I will criticize LSU if I see fit. That won't lessen my love for the university. It is possible to be an LSU fan, like Les Miles and criticize him. Especially when he brings it on himself. I gave him a pass last year. Losing to Clemson was pathetic but many said the team didn't care. The loss to Georgia was frustrating but defendable but there is simply excuse for losing to Ole Miss. You need to deal with that. Delusion is not a helpful state of mind.

Also for the 1000th time, Jefferson's skills saved Miles from losses several times. Les needs to stay far away from offensive play calling.

Alabama aside, you don't just win national championships every year. Miles has won one, got us to a second one, and we were a minute away from playing Georgia for a national championship last year (any of us would have beaten ND). And in most of the other years, we've won 10 games.

Every program in the country but Florida and Alabama would trade their past 9 years for that.

I think the problem a lot of fans have is that some of this was done after the fact...after the damage has been done...it just seems like we're always in reactive mode rather than proactive.

You can always count on Coach Miles to notice LSU football problems and get them fixed within a couple of years.

So I need to enjoy having a coach that is directly responsible for one or two losses every year? Can't do it. I will always support LSU, Les Miles? Never again.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of having my hopes dashed year in and year out because of the ineptitude of one man. There are several things you know you get with Les Miles, you get a poor game day coach, undisciplined play, and horrible time management. You apologists can go on and on about how many wins he has, but let's face it, mere wins doesn't paint an accurate picture of what the past 9 years has been like. The one thing that has kept Miles here, is his ability to recruit. Often times sheer talent alone has compensated for piss poor coaching. Problem is, that talent gap is decreasing, and Miles' luck has run out. Forgive me if for once I want to see great talent meet competent coaching.Forgive me, if all I want is to watch a team that doesn't repeatedly shoot itself in the foot. Isn't that what we spend our money to see? Isn't that what the head coach is paid to produce? A product that he puts in the best position to win week after week. Despite his record he has laid more eggs than any other coach I know. Before you apologists come at me with me being spoiled, I grew up watching the teams in 90's. I know what it's like to be at the bottom. I have no problem with losing to a better team. I do have a problem with year in and year out dropping games because of bad decisions or shoddy preparation. It amazes me that you Miles apologists just accept that as par for the course. It's that mentality that has us slowly slipping out of the ranks of the elite.

I do love the misplaced notion that you have to love the head coach in order to truly be a "fan".

Amen to this! I've been a fan of these Bayou Bengals since Les was learning the "three yards and a cloud of dust" style of football in Michigan, and I will be a fan when his dizzy arse is gone, which will be sooner than later. 10 wins a year and a trip to the Peach bowl no longer cut it in Baton Rouge, and that's all this coach is good for any more.

If you could, who would you replace Les Miles with?

Lane Kiffin?
Dabo Swinney?
Kirby Smart?
Art Briles?

1. If "everywhere you go" people hate on him, stop going there.
2. Fan unrest with coaches is not unique to LSU. UF fans were not satisfied with Spurrier after awhile. It's why he left. He couldn't satisfy them with SEC championships, they wanted it all every year. He had the best team in the SEC in 2001 but he lost two games.
3. Les brings a lot of this on himself. He is goofy, unconventional and LSU is also good to lay an egg or two in a season. He's stubborn and, while we won, it hasn't always been with style points. Witness 2009, 2010, 2012. Now 2011 was special but he shite the bed on Jan 9 (in addition to be so loyal to JJ).
4. OU fans are unhappy with Stoops. UT fans are unhappy with Mack. Maybe coaches only have a shelf life of 10 or so years.
5. If you're tired of the complaints don't listen. Walk away.

also, thebuescherman is probably one of the lsu board members who makes the decisions. the board will NEVER listen to these tards whose average age is 23. miles makes lsu big money. miles ain't goin' nowhere.

Mr 1truetiger, I bet Miles is all tore up knowing he's lost your support. Very few of us knows what's going on behind the scenes on the team. I bet Hill sitting had more to do with injury than it did with punishment for a fumble. Same thing with Mett.

Well your first fukkup is thinking a fan has to like Les Miles or they aren't a fan

And the whole "Who could we get" argument is old, you people act like we would be the level of a ULL job or something. There's a lot of coaches around the NCAA that have won more games than they have lost with a helluva lot less talent than LSU, we wouldn't have to beg them to come.

THIS...plus the "80% win" argument are the only two ever thrown out when anti-CLM threads are posted. I'm with you....our program isn't Sister of the Poor...good candidates would be lined up at the door.

Are you a fan of the USA? Do you think Obama makes questionable decisions?
