I'm really upset now

Last night I was half watching the game but was listening through headphones. I realized Mett got sacked 4 times but just saw the clip on SEC rant ...
Damn. I liked Mett before but have mad respect for him now. Whywas he still in? Why did we not punt?? Why did Saban not call off the dogs???
What's with the line? Really?? And where the hell were the trainers??? Sure he'd have refused help but they should have been out there ...
I hate Bama more than ever ... And what goes around comes around. Who knows when but it will.

Did you notice who made the big plays on the last series? Landon Collins. That was Nick Saban directly showcasing what he can do for recruits

think he was sacked 5 times total, on the last drive there were 4 in a row. i have no clue with the time remaining and the score why les did not take out mett. it seemed kinda stupid and dangerous.

F every damn single one of them. Maybe I'm too soft ... I'm a mom and a huge LSU fan but damn this was beyond brutal.
I think of Harry Coleman's hit on Wilson some time ago ... I have a pic of it and the look on Wilson's face was of horror. But I don't think we got him or even tried 4 times in a row.
And DJ Shockley in 2003 UGA game .. when he came in as backup for what's his name ... I don't think it was this bad.

Recruiting is not the issue. The HC is the issue. I'm not sure I would blame any of these kids that choose Bama over lsu. Why go play sloppy, uninspired, undisciplined football for an idiot who can't manage anything except a stupid blank stare to the replay screen....

Can someone please make an animated gif of Mett walking straight past Miles and throwing his helmet down?
I literally stood up and cheered when he did that. Miles could have gotten him hurt when he had no business being in the game at that point already banged up and 3 scores down. I loved seeing him disrespect Miles like that.

Why do you all have to be f'n whiney arse babies and cry like you do? So Mett got sacked, big deal its football not knitting 101. Alabama did exactly what we would want our defense to do had the show been on the other foot. They FINISHED us off like you're supposed to. Something LSU coaches should take note of and try to emulate themselves.
And no I'm not a Gump as some of you smart asses will think. I am a die hard LSU fan that sees it and tells it like it is. I like the effort our guys gave up to the point where they gave up. They did give up. Watch the game again in case you missed it. We got beat by a better football team.

It is possible that Mett asked to stay in for the sake of pride. And the helmet throwing was just frustration due to not being able to accomplish whatever the hell it was he was hoping to accomplish.

it almost seemed like he kept him in there as some form of punishment. under 3 minutes remaining, 4th and 28, trailing by 21 points. the guy had been sacked 3 times straight and it was clear that the line was discouraged/not performing. it was just dangerous at that point, and mett almost paid the price for it.
i haven't seen anything regarding an injury so far though. was he alright or seriously injured?

It was pretty obvious Mett was pissed at Miles.

Why did Saban not call off the dogs? You're kidding right? Because WE were trying to score and it is Saban's job to prevent that. If any "calling off of the dogs" needed to happen, it should have been instigated by LSU after all hope was lost in the last series.
