If McNeese was playing USC, why would you go to the game knowing that McNeese was going to get beat?

So you're saying there's an absolute 0% chance wins this game Saturday?

No. If Bama has an off night and LSU plays their best game of the season the game will be close. I will be cheering my head off for LSU. However, if the game is a blowout I can feel better knowing that this is the result I expected to begin with so I shouldn't be that upset.

why would that make you feel better?

or does it have something to do with the 2k you put on bama to win.

So I ask again, WHY are you even going to the game if you're so sure about what's going to happen. you're obviously just setting yourself up to be in a miserable mood all day Saturday. What's the point?

Not that it's my argument to make, but I think that he will be in a much better mood than you when Bama wins.

I wasn't going to bring that up. Either way I'll feel good.

Nah. I'm realistic. I can see this game going either way. He's already given up on the game and hoping not to lose the rest of the games this season.

because he is expecting us to lose? that is such a defeatist attitude.

i don't care if he does not have confidence in us winning this game but the joy he has displayed in trashing this team and the coaches is pathetic.

and on top of that his bragging about the money he bet on bama is disgusting.

You are only setting yourself up for major dissappointment if you believe LSU is going to win this game.

Let's look at a few facts. Talent? Bama is no more talented than LSU, except that they are more experienced at QB. In fact, it could be reasonably argued that LSU, especially on offense, is as talented as anyone. Depth? Not even close. This will be telling late in the game. Coaching? That is the big question. Are the defensive troubles we have had a product of poor schemes, poor execution (read:discipline) or poor talent? I hope it is execution, which can be fixed. We have every reason to win this game and, I believe, we will. Suck on that.

I can see that this team is not at the same level as UF, UGA, and Bama this year.

Clearly they're not on the same level as Florida, but I really wouldn't say that UGA did the same thing to LSU that Florida did. The LSU D, while not as good as we'd like, did all you could ask for against Stafford and the rest of UGA's offense. The fact of the matter was Lee's 3 interceptions, that was the difference. And how can you even begin to say Bama is on another level since they HAVE NOT played each other head to head yet.

Dude, LSU was going agisnt a second team offensive line and was absolutely lite up by UGA. LSU is just as talented as UF and got destroyed. Yes, LSU is just as talented as Bama and deeper than Bama. LSU has had 2 opportunities against two other teams of equal talent and been blown out in both of them. That is my only reasoning on why I think LSU will lose. Yes, they had turnovers and the defense miss read things. If LSU corrects the problem they have a chance to win. I just think that if they don't have it fixed by the 8th game of the year, it is probably not going to get fixed. I hope I have to eat crow on Sat. evening but I just don't see it happening.
