Because brady Is taking his system with him. Anything we do outside of hiring someone with their own system is going to be a cheap imitation of Brady

Well good thing I put about 0 stock into anything ensminger says... just because someone is good to work with on the shadow staff doesn’t mean they’ll be great on the field. What about his tenure as OC provides evidence he will have success?

I’d LOVE to hear your breakdown of Brady vs Munoz and their roles in the 2019 offense.

From the outside looking in, if Munoz is the first guy Burrow talked to every time he came off the field, it seems like he was the guy in charge of the practical application of the concepts Brady brought in. Essentially the translator of the message.

And to be able to translate it, you have to understand it. I'm sure there is something Brady brought to the table beyond the new concepts that will be difficult to replace, but there is institutional knowledge left behind. We aren't crippled by his leaving in any way.

Brady had a playbook before he even went to penn state.... he didn’t learn the spread from the saints he learned wrinkles. And yes I honestly believe ensminger doesn’t know the spread on his own. If he knew it so well he would have relied less on Brady in game and more on him during the weeks preparation. You guys give sling way toooo much credit

Jorge Munoz begins his 10th year as an assistant coach at Louisiana, moving back to receivers coach - a position he held from 2011-15 - after serving as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for the Ragin’ Cajuns in 2016.

Munoz’ work with the Cajuns wide receivers from 2011-15 was exemplary. Despite not having the team’s top receiver - Jamal Robinson - in the lineup for much of the 2014 season due to injury, four players stepped up and caught 30 or more passes each. Running back Elijah McGuire (45 receptions) was the team’s top receiver on the season with James Butler (38), Al Riles (34) and Gabe Fuselier (30) contributing to the Ragin’ Cajuns offense.

With Robinson back in the lineup for the 2015 season, four Cajuns caught 30 or more passes on the season, with Robinson grabbing 54 passes and earning first-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors. Riles (46), Fuselier (37) and McGuire (34) each ecliipsed the 30-catch plateau for Louisiana with promising freshman Gary Haynes grabbing 25 passes in his first season.

In 2013, Robinson earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors after finishing seventh in the league in receptions (54), fifth in receiving yards per game (66.3) while his eight TD receptions were tied for fifth-most in a single season in school history.

Javone Lawson (134 catches, 2,107 yards, 15 TDs) and Harry Peoples (122-1,514-6) concluded their careers in 2012 as only the third set of receivers in school history to each have 100 receptions in a career.

In 2011, Munoz played an integral role in the Cajuns throwing for over 3,500 yards. Lawson (63 catches, 1,092 yards) posted one of the top seasons by a Louisiana receiver while Peoples and Darryl Surgent also emerged as steady targets for Blaine Gautier.

From 2008-10, Munoz served as the Ragin’ Cajuns pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, installing a “Play Station” attack that shattered school records for total offense (5,390 yards) and touchdowns (54) in 2008.

With coaching hires I’m not sold yet. He hasn’t been 100% and obviously no one can be but his best coaches IMO besides Brady he didn’t hire. He inherited Aranda and Raymond.
He’s the reason for the Canada debacle. I trust coach o on almost anything except coaching hires. I’m still not 100% sold. Hoping I’ll be proved wrong

Harsh words for a fan of a team that just won a natty this week.

I can be a fan of a team and not like a member of coaching staff. This isn’t black or white. Being an LSU fan doesn’t mean I have to blindly support anyone affiliated with the program

The best thing to do is keep as many guys as we can in house and promote from within. Also continue stockpiling offensive analysts who can add value.

This is the only answer. Don't fix it if it's not broken. Keep things fluid and familiar, adding new wrinkle with different input.
