I’m ok if we have to play Bama again. 2019 is different than 2011.

Bama ain’t what they were back then. They don’t have the horses on Defense to run with us.
And we have Joe Burrow, and he won’t let this team become complacent. Kid is a killer. If we play them again, we beat them again. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Don't be silly, it is hard to beat the same team 2 times . Who know if LSU got a chance to play Alabama again last year or previous years what would have happened.

Bama’s biggest “win” is a loss to LSU. That’s how the media is trying to spin it because they have no quality wins. They couldn’t just let us enjoy the victory for even 24 hours. They are hard at work doing their best to completely invalidate Saturday’s win.

Saban May sabotage himself in the iron bowl. He’s more worried about the possibility (it’s real) of LSU beating him twice in one year. More specifically, he’s worried about Orgeron beating him twice in one season. That would and will be a disaster for him and his program. The media attention and scrutiny would be far too harmful to the program.
He knows he will be better off saying “we wish we could have had another shot at them”.
He does not want to say...”they’re just a better team than we are”. And that is exactly what would be said.
This wasn’t the case in 2011, we all know it despite how good we were.
This year, it’s just the truth. We are getting better in all phases of the game, because young guys are having to play. Next step is getting better and playing a more complete game. We haven’t even reached our full potential yet, but it’s coming. And little man knows it! He doesn’t want more this year, book it.

Correct. You want to bury Bama for the foreseeable future? Beat them twice in the same season. I’m not saying it’ll happen. It really shouldn’t happen. I’d hate it if they made us play them again. But if it does happen, I’d pick the Tigers again.

I don't see a rematch as a given.
The best Bama can hope for is 4th place.
Ohio State could jump us with wins over Penn State, Michigan, and Minnesota.
We don't play another ranked team till the SEC Championship.
I think the TV Gods would love to see LSU vs OSU.
