It really is disgusting considering trash cans are provided for people.
And if they aren't, bring trash bags with you and carry it home. But people expect others to do it for them. Me, me, me.

So the whole "start em young" and "lifetime Tiger fans", and all the stories, told with fondness, about times in the stadium with your kids is just bullshite. All that is cool. Kids tossing the football around tailgates cant happen because of keg stands and rap. No one can find a trash can and leave the place a dump, and we cant filter our language. Our culture is pretty trashy. No wonder we suck so bad.

Wut? All of that can happen simultaneously, but you have to parent your child as far as which of the behaviors they observe you deem acceptable for them to do. This really isn't that hard.

I would not be happy if my daughter told someone to suck a dick. I also do not avoid LSU sporting events where STTDB is invariably going to be said. I tell her that language is not to be repeated, and then we move on. It's really not any harder than that.

You aren't going to stop people from saying it, but that doesn't mean your child is destined to a life of trashiness if they hear it. Do your job as a parent.

Easy, people say bad things when they are emotional, Your dad does too .

Shouting STTDB is a level of choreography and vulgarity that is not comparable, and any comparison to an appropriately place curse word is not applicable.

It really is all the same. They are adult words that you don't want your kids to say and tell them not to say. What does the number of people saying it matter?

No, it really isn't.

Chant shite, shite, shite, shite, shite....every hour on the hour at your job.

Then stick a staple in your finger and say shite once.

I bet one gets you fired a whole lot faster

No one said it was hard.

Everyone is saying it is vulgar, unbecoming, and unnecessary.

We all CAN navigate it, the fact that we are having to is the issue.

What an odd goal post shift. So we are to treat LSU athletics like our jobs? Guess getting drunk is no longer allowed

BS. If it was so easy for everyone to navigate, this thread wouldn't exist. Look no further than the OP for someone that clearly has issues dealing with it.

We were talking about the language and how words should be treated the same, no matter their application. Try to keep up.

Dude, when a person blocks the left lane it is easy to apply the brake and avoid a collision.

But people still bitch about it because it is wrong and unnecessary.

In the setting of LSU football, I think it should be treated the same. You introduced the comparison to the workplace. Your condescension, while humorous, is noted.

Getting drunk and not impacting me, great. Getting drunk and impacting my life, not really appropriate.

I find this thread of pearl clutching unnecessary, but here we are.

It isn't going to stop, so how much more time would you like to invest in trying to change something that won't change?

Im not trying to change it by discussing it on a message board. Christ. Who would have thought that

It is just a discussion topic. I am happy to see there seems to be more folks by the year that think it should go away as the upvotes and downvotes suggest.

No, it generally caters to all of us. That is why we have rules and laws, and huge commonality of our perception of right and wrong among a very large number of humans on the planet.

This is just one of those things.

That’s fine, but they’re not. You are slinging it out here right now though.
